newcomer to odworld
 

I am new to oddworld abes oddysee on PS1, itis awesome but I am already stuck in scrabania & paramonia in one I get the elum but cant jump the gap, in the other i cant get past the top slig protecting the elum bell help before i get a slig to shoot me!!!!:fuzconf:

1. Watch Elum's feet, not his head. When his feet reach the edge, you'll make it.
2. Just be quick. If you listen, you can hear when he turns. As soon as he turns, hop and pull. But watch out for the slig below.

The top slig protecting the Elum bell in Scrabania can be killed by Abe.

when you start in the first screen of Scrabania, there is a well in the foreground, and a well and a lever in the background, but they don't work yet,

1.you need to pull a lever in the third screen, to the left.
2.after pulling the lever, get back to the first screen and use the wells.
3. Pull the lever in the backgorund of the first screen to activate the well in the second screen.
4. Use the well in the second screen. Abe will appear just in the background of the screen with the top slig. Just possess and kill him.

I've found that if you get the Slig to face away from the ledge's edge and keep him firing, he'll eventually fall off the ledge and get rid of the land mine in screen number two.
