What Would You Do??

Situation 1.

A man is dangling off a tall building and you have a chance to save him. The man's wallet is full of money and on the roof beside the dangling man. He is about to fall... WHAT DO YOU DO??

A: Save the man and hope for an reward.

B: Take the man's money after he falls.

C: Step on the man's fingers while you take a couple of fifties out of his wallet until kicking him in the face and sending him to the great beyond while you wave and smile.

D: Save the man and take him out to lunch for the trouble he's went through.

What would you choose??

Anyone who would even notice the wallet has a disturbingly warped value system.

I think (or at least hope) that most people don't have a warped value system, so I think people that answer that they would take the money or even think about a reward are responding to hypothetical questions without being able to really imagine what it would be like to be in that situation.

BiddaMD 04-17-2002 12:33 AM

Um...precious, human life or some pieces of paper..hmmm..wow buddy, why you even thought of that was insane.

Cloverfield 04-17-2002 03:01 AM

My answer is not actually listed there ... it would be

D. Save the man and not expect a reward at all as I would try to save him as it is the decent thing for any human to do.

It's strange how each of the answers shows concern for money in some way or another. Even the first option which seems the right thing to do still has you "hoping" for a reward. It indicates that our society is too bent on money. Thus the concept of Glukkons in Oddworld.

Option D. Our society is too bent on money. Yes that's right but money is nice too have. Too help friends or buy something you really want. It's terrible that not everyone in this world have enough money and others have too much money then they could ever spend. It is good that there are so much charity fonds to give money to. It is also very good that they keep much of the money to spend it for there own good. This is a beautiful world.

The questions I ask are in no way to be taken seriously.

MojoMan220 04-17-2002 10:40 AM

Situation 2.

A rampaging elephant escapes from your local circus. He is destroying everything in his path. You notice your really nice sportscar will get destroyed if it is not moved. WHAT DO YOU DO??

A: Quickly get in the car and drive it to safety before the elephant stomps on it. Your life will be in danger.

B: Run for cover and let your car get smashed.

C: Get your trusty tranquilizer gun and shoot the elephant to stop further destruction. No time to save your sports car. Your life will be in danger.

What would you Choose??

Gluk Schmuck 04-17-2002 12:19 PM

1. D

2. B

Xavier 04-17-2002 12:30 PM

1. A
2 I can't drive

Doug 04-17-2002 01:19 PM

rampid?

K. Jump into the sports car, drive off, turn around, quickly accelerate to 120 miles an hour and smash head on into the elephant.

Then, I'll climb out of the wreckage and elephant guts, pick up the tranquilizer gun, and shoot MojoMan220 in the ass for asking these stupid questions.

What do you care? I'm not making you answer these questions. It's just a wierd topic like fun facts or online hike. Man, lighten up, have a smoke with me.:smokin:

I don't care. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to shoot you in the ass with an elephant tranquilizer gun.

And I don't smoke. Anymore.

Don't say such things......Mojoman's questions are not stupid... What is your problem??? Don't think I'm having a go Doug.

Erm, what would I do? I think that I would take my father's tranquilizer gun (he has no tranquilizer gun............) (I can run really fast so I go to the McDonalds (yugh!).) and run really fast back to the car feed the elephant Mcdonald's strange taste food (Happymeal, I'll keep the toy) the elephant will turn sick, lie down so I could put him on the backseat of the car and drive him back to the circus. It will only take a few seconds. :D :D

Jacob 04-17-2002 06:16 PM

C...its more polite to smile and wave.

paramiteabe 04-17-2002 06:32 PM

Hahahahahaha   I would just do what Ace Vantura does in Ace Vantura 2 Pet Detective. For I have the power of nature with me.

I would call the elephant like what Ace does and I will have the elephant sit on a rich persons car! Hehe! odd. a bush e boo boo de doo doo a boo boo boo!

I'm changing my answer,
W: I don't have a sportscar because I don't need/want one. My car will be covered under my insurance and I don't keep anything important in the car.

SeaRex 04-17-2002 06:54 PM

1. I suppose "A". I would save him, and if wanted to give me a reward, that's howdie-doodie. But if he didn't, that's cool too.
2. D: Why would I have a Sport's Car in the first place? My beat up Toyota Camry with bumper stickers on it would coax a different reaction. No one touches my crappy car!

munchman 04-17-2002 11:55 PM

i would chose B, because that day i would be drivin my friends car, sure he would be mad but at least my car would not be smashed :fuzcool:
this is not real to many peeps are thinkin stuff like this is real these days :fuzvamp:

mitsur 04-18-2002 11:58 AM
