How I could and will give 600 plus dollars to all peeps in the USA
 

We(us americans) currently give 300 billion dollars to corporations by not enforcing tax laws and by giving them tax breaks. If I become prez, a prominant congressman etc. I could lobby to... "thoroughly enforce tax laws and stop giving corporations on welfare tax breaks. Afterwards, all proceeds would go directly to you, the loyal forumers and americans! We the people must stop the insanity, get our rightful money from conniving corporate bigwigs who manipulate the political system to steal money from YOU the American TAX PAYERS I propose to eliminae taxes and give you immediatly 600 plus dollars after i divvy up the spoils!" I would repeat this over and over, and the outrage of the people against the "Thieving" and support for me would be really powerful The people would demand their TAX DOLLARS BACK DAMMIT!!! Any people in opposition would be thoroughly boycotted and derided as I would incite an ad blitz against all incs who opposed me. The immoral "Evil empires who don't want to stop taking your money" will be so reviled that they will cease to sell their overpriced, crappy wares. In a last ditch effort of keister kissing, all opposition will support me wholehearty in an effort to save face(and dollars)After 4 years of 600 plus dollars under my benevolent rule, people will be pissed if they don't get their money. I will be hero to the "little people", and nobody will be a challenge in my most certain reelection. I would call all challengers "corporate puppets" and Great thieving Satan Infidels,etc., and i will be elected to prezship In one prez term i could generate 1.2 trillion dollars, 2.4 trillion after my reelection. After my presidency, i would say, "Let's use this surplus to help,you the people, get healthcare etc. After the people agree to this, i will totally reform other things, like whatever the hell I feel like, and i will be martyred. National holiday, great cash, etc. And that warm fuzzy feeling of power after helping people out. My next courses would be to hack out another 200 billion plus dollar fiasco, the drug "war"and carve the military down by about 75-100 billion a year. all the money would be given to people and used to create cool shit that a lot of people like. after the drug war ends and the military budget is tightened, taxes will go away forever. Cool beans, ey? Vote for me, YOU, the forumers and people who are getting screwed out of hard earned DOLLARS. The dollar us shall be filthy rich and nigh allmighty!.

You don't need to sway the voters though, do you? You could just exclude all states from the elections and put all your supporters in Wisconsan! Much cheaper than bribing the WHOLE country.

that's $168 billion a year for four years ($672 billion) and you plan to be realected ($1.344 trillion) thats $1.344 trillion that could go twords education, health care, ect. also with the money lost by raising taxes of buisnesses many bussinesses would go bankrupt, thus causing high unemployment rates so there would be cheap labor, the businesses that survive would be bigger because they could take over former competitors areas and small buisnesses would go bankrupt, any start up buisnesses would either have to have a lot of luck or a lot more money to make it.

I wouldn't raise taxes on corporations. And businesses on average only pay twelve percent of the 35 percent profit tax, so why should they be allowed hundreds of billions of dollars in handouts and a special cheaper tax and not even pay their taxes. Imagine if everyone just went, well NBC only pays a twelve percent tax, so why should I pay it at all? IRS and everyone would be on the people's asses for not paying taxes but we can just turn a blind eye to corporations getting special handouts and skipping out on almost 70 percent of their taxes. and the comment on propaganda, Steve. Campaigns are propaganda. whether the claims are true or not isn't relevant to the fact of that. and swaying votes is bad? That is how people get elected. the best vote getter wins. and the great satan infidel was too extreme, but one can't overestimate the power of a good negative ad. Once people see how much money they can get and see large monolithic corporations as the lawbreaking, handout taking, corrupt things that they are they will embrace the thought of putting them in line for a payoff. convincing people to stop the wasteful war on drugs would be a little harder, but the sweet allure of more freedom, less noviolent people in jail and more violent offenders in jail, and yet again, a pot of benjamins should be more than enough to make people lay off. And all off that money 200 to 300 from corporations, 100 from trimming back on the military, 300 more from letting people use drugs all adds up. At the lowball estimate that is a whapping 500 billion dollars a year! Times 8 tht equals 4 trillion dollars. 4 trillion dollars for money to voters and bettering america with cool stuff. and if it doesn't work, hey, we can always stop. I don't need to be prez that much. But it would work pretty damn good and all t takes is one year of sweet, sweet money and reform to get voters.

I don't have any great love for corporate America, but as you seem to acknowledge in your first post, "corporate welfare" is actually legal tax breaks for corporations. You can't just get elected and change this or most of the other things you're ranting about overnight. There are 535 other people in the House and Senate you need to deal with.

As Steve suggests, making the wholesale changes you're advocating would have serious ramifications in other parts of the economy and national infrastructure. The disclaimer "and if it doesn't work, we can stop" doesn't cut it for me. Particularly if the depression you cause is in full force. People aren't going to give a rat's ass about the 600 bucks you've handed out because the company they work for has gone bankrupt and they don't have a job anymore. Besides that, Bush already handed out 300 and 600 dollar tax rebates last year and no one has noticed any great effect on the economy. Or did you miss that because you don't pay income tax?

By the way, being "martyred" means dying for your cause. Did you really mean that? I think this is all a very good illustration of why you have to be 35 years old to be elected to be President of the United States.

If you could get hundreds of huge companies to stop CHEATING OUT on their taxes you could raise billions. The average company pays twelve percent profit tax on what should legally be 35 percent profit er taxs. The loopholes and the subsities feed the robber barons, not Will, who hasn't sold a rugby ball ever since BCBRC(Big Cheating, Bastard Rugby Corp) moved in and got tax breaks on everything from breakfast to ball parts for the rugbys. and I am sure spending a little less money on a military that regularly buys thousand dolllar hammers would cause the downfall of all western society. Yeah, right. Of the twelve largest military powers, you could add the top seven together and that mighty army still wouldn't be as big as the U.S's army.

I also wouldn't discourage anyone from running for elective office. However, if you're going to be successful at it, you're going to have to take a more reasoned approach to it. Right now you just sound like a raving maniac frothing at the mouth. Sure, there are corrupt politicians, but I think plenty are honest, hardworking people trying to do the right thing.

Yes, their has to be a method to the madness doug, I agree totally. But some people are corrupt and don't give a shit, I want to do the right thing, but I am confused as to what my purpose is. I think we got it down that I will (most likely, always have to have hope you know)never ever become president. But let us skirt away from all of that "that shmuck will never get to be prez, he doesn't know what martyr means" to what my topic is more about. Corporate welfare. Should larege companies get tax breaks and be able to not pay their full amount of taxes simply because they are big. NBC has broken numerous laws, shouldn't they have to pay the piper? When some big shot for a large company sups at some ritzy restaurant, should the suit be able to put it on the company's tab and get a tax break for eating a meal or being entertained. The system now is being totally worked over, to the tune of 200 to 300 billion dollars a year. Why do people keep giving these people tax breaks for the most ridiculous of things?
