Maximo for PS2
 

For those of you who bought a PS2 for Oddworld and suffered with the Xbox taking over, have you ever played Maximo by CAPCOM?
Is it any good?
What would you give it out of ten?
I might get it for my bro's PS2. It looks alright. I loved Ghouls and Ghosts so it seems cool.

I got it. It's ok gameplay and graphics wise. But the cinamatics are stupid...and it's not just the obvious 'Japanese converted to English' bit either. The cinamatics are just plain corny.
But I don't play the game for the cinamatices.
It does get a bit repeative...(kill enemies, get keys and Koins, bet the boss, repeat)...just getting harder as you go along. Some lvs can be frustrating with the jumps (jump wrong and you die in many places).

Don't formulate your decsion on just my opinion though...

As good as Oddowrld is, I still love the old fashioned, mindless arcade style games where you just go around killing stuff to get through the levels. You've gotta have some good, old fun, like the days of the Amiga! I played the demo at my girlfriends house, I'm gonna get it!
