Oddworld Party
Ok, I know that this may sound like a stupid idea but I was noticed that Oddworld Inhabitants was gonna have their own Oddworld Party so why shouldnt we. My idea was that we could all go to Oddchat a certain time and just talk about what we think Munch's Oddysee will be like, then when the time comes we could count down the last seconds (like newyears). If you have any ideas or if you think this is a good idea please tell me.

well, if you decide on a time...i know a site i can change one date into several other time-zones around the world!

Well I have eatern time and I get outta school at 2:55pm so mabye a good time would be from 12:00 to 3:00 my time, Im not sure exactly what time that would be there but from the time counter I looked at they sounded like reasonable times?
 What we should have is everybody who wants to attend the party list the time that would be most sutable for them and then we could put them together and find a nice time.  |

I almost forgot about this... we don't have much time to organize, but I think we really should do something for the launch of Munch.
The biggest question is a time. I have three ideas for possible times: 1. Midnight on the 15th (start of Xbox launch) 2. Afternoon/early evening on the 15th (we used to hold OddChats at 5:30 PST (US) which seemed to work well 3. Weekend so that more can attend Please let us know your preferred time and then myself and Sydney will schedule something in the next few days (hopefully... sorry Sydney for dobbing you in here!). Time isn't an issue for me as I can get a day off work if needed (I worked a public holiday yesterday and I get a day off for it when I want). Since we haven't had an OddChat with Oddworld Inhabitants for ages where people would stay back and chat, it would be great to talk to some people from here. Abe Babe... |

I'd prefer in the afternoon, but I know alot of people will want to countdown till the XBOX launch...(personally I don't want to stay up because then when the XBOX is out I'll be too tired to enjoy the lush lands of Oddworld). But we can always just call Nov. 14 Oddworld Party day..and we can all drop in and discuss the finer points of Munch... :)

I think the weekend would probably be the best then, judging from the responses.
I'd tend to go with the mid-late afternoon US time, as otherwise if any earlier it gets to be in the middle of the morning in Australia (I know it's hard to arrange a time to suit everyone unless we have two chats). Also it would need to be a Saturday US time to allow for the time changes in southern hemisphere countries. I think we'll go with this unless there are any objections. I'll talk to Sydney and we'll just announce a date/time within that range. Abe Babe... |
