How to get a banner?
 

This may be a stupid question and old but How do you make those banners to show up in your posts? I want to make one for myself. I never knew how to do that. Can somebody tell me how? please! Thankyou: Paramiteabe

What programs do you have? If you have photoshop it's easy but If all you have is paint then it is a alot harder. I'm sure you know how to put pics and backgrounds in it. When you have finished your banner all you have to do is upload it onto webspace. OR you could just ask for a banner in one of the banner topics :)

Like abe22 said, photoshop or that kinda stuff is easy and gives quite a variety. From what everyone says photodeluxe sucks, and I have used of it it does. Paint you go to "image" and "attributes" and change the size to 400 x 125 pixles or less, and go from there. Pictures you copy and paste you can't do anything with, basicly the way to make osmething from paint look good is to use a white background with pasted stuff and erase crap while zoomed, for overlapping things. Or just a black and white... If you want a wierder looking piece of crap mess around with pasting soemthing for a background in. All I like paint for is cheesy drawings and crapy AIM buddy icons, bannering is definately somehting not worthwhile with it. Heck, even photo delluxe works better, though I had to copy it into paint so I could host it on MSN. Now I feel like a complete idiot explaining the way to make decent crap in paint and then saying it sucks for things like banners, I'm gonna shutup...
