Why?I thought it was cool!

Wolfpac 03-29-2002 01:31 PM

I thought the Movie was Great. What other movie can you say that in most people's DVD collection (over 30) that The Matrix is in? Everyone I know who has a DVD player has this Movie

But even if you think it sucks, you must admire it for developing a new camera angle perspective. No matter what other Movie you see it in you know that it's originated from The Matrix.

Where's Cypher? and Tank? and Agent Smith? Ooo, you've only included the boring characters in the poll...

I take it you've never seen any of the dozens of martial-arts films that used those camera techniques before the Matrix...

I don't have it but I've only had my Xbox and DVD kit for three weeks. I don't have any movies on DVD yet...:(
The first movie I'll buy will be Moulin Rouge. Hooray for musicals!

That's Right Mitsur!! It's just about a silly dancer girl, and a man falls in love with her...boring gushy gushy crap etc: Her love is forbidden..yadda yadda.....

That's true Joe, it's not like Sydney at all.

That is unusual of you to say somthing like that. The fact that a UK radio DJ recomended it mainly to women and homosexuals has NOTHING to do with it...

I enjoyed it! That's GOT to give me a camp point!

Sydney 03-30-2002 10:53 PM

Well, Moulin Rouge is gay in the sense of being bright, lively and cheerful. That's what I meant.

I belive you...*rolls eyes*

No, I wasn't being sarcastic there...No, I really, really, really wasn't...

munchman 03-31-2002 06:36 PM

how bout we go back about talkin about Matrix now that we know how every one thinks about Moulin Rouge

Gluk Schmuck 03-31-2002 06:46 PM

Good idea, munchman.

The Matrix: Not quite as good as Moulin Rouge but still very good.

Sydney 04-01-2002 01:52 AM

Honestly, I was just fishing for a reaction. I'm glad it appears out of character for me to use the word "gay" as a negative adjective.

As for the Matrix, I think it's brilliant.

mitsur 04-01-2002 02:11 AM

I thought it was the best movie ever!I like the part when Neo walks through the metal detector and the guard says:'Please remove all metal objects'and he takes two guns out and shoots them.

Majic 04-01-2002 02:15 AM

Very evil, you are. IMO thats one of the best shootouts in any movie, or batle seens. ONly countered of that by Jay &Silent Bob Strike Back, Aliens, and of course Robo Cop 3! Not really Robo COp, that was stupid at the end...
