Help in No Muds Land
In the game, I have already completed the level by killiing EVERYTHING, but I am stuck towards the end. I have both Abe and Munch at the end of the level and I can't get to the teleporters because of all the sligs in the little room. I there anyone out there who can guide me through the process? I've tried making a run for it, but I usually die and have to go through the entire level to get whoever died back to the end of the level, the invisible vendo s don't help that much because I run out of time, and the Prima's Official Guide tells me jack squat. Please help me! :fuzblink:

If you have all of the doors open, have Abe possess the big bro slig and have him blow everyone away...

No Mud's Land
-the problem i had was opening the right doors. you have to get munch into the cannon thing to the side of the ramp. once he's up at the top, then have munch go out around the corner to open the door. then abe can get around and posses the big bro and kill the rest.

Ooohh.....I see...I think I accidentally made the big bro go splat before I was finished with everybody else. I'll do the level over again *groan*, but thanks for your help!

Y'know what? I was on that level an hour ago, and something very peculiar happened. I went in the little caged place with the sligs on platforms and a bunch of explosives ( the one up the ramp after the invisible drink vendo) and I jumped on top of the wall of explosives. After that, I posessed the Armored BigBro waiting in the corner. Being the idiot that I am, I shot blindly at the coming slig, accidentaly shooting down the wall of explosives Abe was on. The BigBro exploded, and the camera went back to where Abe died. I waited. It just sat there. I tried to switch to Munch. Didn't do anything. So, now I have to start over on that level. Does anyone know why this happened?:fuzconf:

A sequence of events that OWI didn't plan on. It seems they would've planned on something like this (user having Abe possess a slig and then killing Abe).
Normally, if Abe gets hurt while he is possessing a creature, he loses his concentration and is no longer possessing the creature and your controls go back to Abe. My guess is that the game was trying to do that, but since Abe died, the controls had nothing to go back to, thereby getting you stuck. Hope this makes sense. Just a hypothesis. |
Oh yeah... that does make sense... thanks, Buckminister!:)
