Anybody likes 60 or 70 music?
I would say I am alweys listening to that kind music even though it was before my time. I just like it. I think it's better than some stuff we get nowa days. My favorite groups and artistist are The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeplon, The Rolling Stones, The Birds, Peter Paul and Marry, Bob Dilyn, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplyn, And of coarse the solo music by formal dead Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison. I also like Paul Mcartneys Wings too.
Yea I guess I am old fashion but that music was the best music ever in the history of rock. I would of loved to live through that era in history. It would of been interesting. I could imagine being at the very first Wood Stock. All's I know is that there will never be music like that ever again. That music and sound is truely legondary.:fuzblink: |
I am always listening to old music. I was just brought up on that stuff. I hate most if not all new age music.

     You vertainly called my number! All I listen to is music from the 50's 60's and some 70's... but then I like most "old" things. Some of my preferred artists/bands include:

You know the song "The End"? I think the Doors recorded that song in complete darkness.
Also Most music artists nowadays only care about moving up on the chart and trying to be better than the other. Where as in 60's they just put words together and said what they had to say. It's all money nowadays and being popular on the charts. For instance Lennon created his music based on what he felt at the time. Not for popularity or any of that BS. He dident care what people thought of him. Thats what I admire about him. He really dident make his songs based on other people in the world that he dident know. Mostly they were about Yoko or if he had a good day or something like that. But I do believe that Yoko was a bad influence for him in the end. |
A girl goes to see a Doors gig. After the gig, she sneaks backstage, and sees the band. She's so excited that she runs up to them, then realises that she isn't meant to be there. The Doors see her and ask her what she's doing there.
"Oh please, I just sneaked back here to catch a glance of you, I'm sorry! Please forgive me!" she pleads. "Well, okay," says Jim, "But you've got to give us all blow-jobs first." Now this girl wasn't usually the type to give blow-jobs, but she liked the Doors so much that she was honoured, and did it. They then gave her their autographs, and she left, happy. A couple of weeks later, the same girl goes to see the Rolling Stones. After the gig, she decides to sneak backstage again, but again she is caught. Again, the band say they'll let her go if she gives them all blow-jobs. She agrees, and they give her their signatures and she leaves. But on the way out, she meets Michael Caine. How could I forget Simon and Garfunkel, The Platters, Drifters and The Temptations. Oh I just thought of another one Them. The band is actually called "Them" HAHA.

And of coarse who can forget Billy Preston a good key board artist. He helped out the Beatles in Let It Be.

You all forgot Pink Floyd! Grr, evil people... Their golden era had to be the 70's... Any way, I too love a lot of 60's and 70's music... Many people dismiss the 70's as the disco era, but that's pathetic, seeing as the 70's had the best punk music, and some great rock.
