Isn't there enough negativity in the world without needlessly creating "Let's everybody trash this now" topics? If you were legitimately troubled by Barney-type programming, articulate it -- I'm all for a good discussion about television programming. However, in my opinion there is no more value to this topic than your everyday rancid spam.

The guy in the Barney suit is a young man. Barney's voice is done by someone different -- like a cartoon voiceover.

I've watched Barney the dino, and The Teletubies, and I really found them good shows for kindengarten kids. Children older than that would find it really boring, I reckon.

While on the subject, there is this film: Death to smoochy a pink rhino which seems to be a parody of the Barney dino.
