Will Munchs Oddysee Ever be ported to PSX2 or PC

I was dissapointed when MO (munchs oddysee) was taken off the psx2 gaming list and converted to xbox. now i have a psx2 which i brought think MO woudl be on it i am dissapointed i have been let down. Does any one have any info on MO tha it wil be ported over or not let me no im so pissed off it isnt funny some one tell me some good news :mad:

Okay, this has been asked one too many times. No, it will never be on the PS2 or Computer so quit yer bitchin', get a job, and go buy an XBox!

yes i am new too this i just cant help being ripped off i have a new pc and a psx2 and an xbox is not out in my country yet and it probably willl be far 2 expensive

Ripped off? You're the one that bought your PS2. Unless it was bought for you by someone else, in which case there's nothing really to complain about.

Besides, PlayStation 2 has plenty of games that won't be on XBox.

Why do you need a magazine? Oddworld Inhabitants made it clear that they had a four-game deal with Microsoft when they initially announced the port.

Hey, I like Munch! Granted, it isn't as good as it could've been, but what ever is? There's some folk 'round these parts, don't take kindly to unfounded Munch-bash'n, y'hear?

Just because someone says they dislike Munch, does not make him/her no less of a fan of Oddworld. To be a true Fan is to have your opinion count towards changes in the games development you can't possibly like everything in the game. Xbox exclusive meant alienating atleast 80% of the Fan base. This is how you loose Fans of a game by making drastic changes to an already proven formula. I personally would like to see 'spooce' disappear, and the next game to be a more realistic representation of Oddworld. What Fans think, come second to the companies trying make money. Clearly a lot of money(SOBE) was involved with the Xbox switch of Munch, no matter how much OWI tries to say because its more powerful. Cause if no money was exchanged, then it would have be one of the worst business decision every made(which I'm pretty sure its not). There's no reason to call people names, this is the purpose of a forum, to talk about these sort of things. If you don't like the subject, then just don't post a reply.

The Game Company "Blizzard" uses its Forums often, and takes their Fans opinions very seriously, by making changes to their games base on what they have read in the Forums. And anybody who knows "Blizzard" is that all there games are very successful.

I agree, but I think Dequibenzo was just joking around.

I hate to break this to you . . . *looks around furtively for sligs with batons or maybe even guns* . . . but Oddworld isn't real. It's whatever OWI makes it. Maybe you meant you wanted to see it more like in AO/AE. I liked the backgrounds in those games better, too, but those were a whole 'nother animal. I loved AO and AE, but it's a 3D world now.

I'm no fan of the Sobe thing, but if any money was involved in the switch to XBox, and it is my opinion that there certainly was, it came from Microsoft. I've been playing MO for several hours and I've only seen one Sobe vendo. The game even jokes about it being blatant product placement. It's small potatoes.

Noone called anyone a name. There's a lot of exasperation with this question because it comes up again and again. I think you're right that if this subject makes you impatient you should just ignore it or post a less empassioned reply, but I don't think anyone was completely out of line, least of all Dequibenzo, who was just joking around. This is Oddworld Forums, after all.;)
