I just got an idea! *cracks every finger* I thought I could make a topic about surrealistic artwork (your own!). Post your fantasy drawings in here! I'll begin with the first picture. I was aged 11 when I began to draw such surrealistic pictures. From cats with horse-legs till dolphins with wings. :  I really would like to see your fantasy drawings! |

Here's a pic for ya Alector. This is a new critter I came up with tha I am thinking about putting in the RPG. BTW...other then the background...I used pastels to color this dude. Came out quite well considering I am very new to pastels...

I'm a little startled at how damn well this came out, so I hope the stupid URL doesn't break... Eh, yes, that's a pearl/sun-globe s/he's carrying, and yes, it's blue because I drew it on blue card.  And as I'm so generous... two pics for the price of one, how nice! This one only looks any good in Angelfire, but then I mutilated it anyway... Eh, I know it's not an Oddpic, but as I'm quite pleased with how it one turned out, I thought I'd post it... *wonders it it'll post properly, but doubts it*
To those interested parties, this is "Buto" (also "Uadjet") - she was the ancient Egyptian cobra goddess, royal protectress. She wasn't as anthropomorphic as this in "real" life (as in on the temple paintings) but I thought it worked (apart from her wings, which I first ran out of room for all of, then the scanner chewed on a bit, I hope she doesn't mind)... As a sidenote, those people that know what Tutankhamun's death mask looked like - the cobra on the front of it was Buto, and the vulture was Nekhebet, another royal guardian goddess.  |
