Xbox - some questions (PAL)

1. Why does my TV picture look bad now?
I can only watch terrestrial TV when I unplug the SCART input from my Xbox.
If nobody can answer this then I'll have to get a SCART switch... *remembers his MS2 had a similar switching system*

2. With the DVD remote I can press 'Info' while listening to an audio CD and the little bubble of visualisation expands to fill the whole screen.
Which button do I press on my controller to do this? And, yes, I've tried every button. X is the only one that does nothing...

3. I thought there was a perental control feature on the Xbox. It is displayed as being in Settings on xbox.com/uk on a screenshot and it doesn't mention it in the manual. Where is it?
Not that I want to stop myself from playing Halo but I was just wondering.

4. What does 60Hz mode do?

:fuzconf:

The UK version is most likely different than the American version. I haven't had trouble with some of the stuff you have. Either that or you got a whacked-out X Box. And I don't even know where the 60Mz mode is...

I've sorted problem one!

It was my arial's fault. It supposedly automatically detects when it should turn itself on but it doesn't want to do that now so I have to switch it on and off mnually...

And as for number four, 60Hz mode apparently just makes the picture look better.

I don't need two and three answering but I wouldn't mind...

Well, if you have tried every button on your controller, than there is no way to solve #2.

As for #3, I don't know what to tell you, it should be under settings.

what sucks about mine is that it says I have to get an adapter for it if I wanted to play DVDs. *growl* And my PS2 decided not to play DVDs properly anymore since I moved. *growls more* no matter...I am getting REAL DVD player very soon...
