Admins/Mods...
 

Rite...i dont suppose the rest of the forum know how annoying it is to be banned for no reason and then not be un-banned. Ok...so...this is some suggestions for more of a workable atmosphere in the forums. It goes on the whole...Innocent until proven guilty scenerio:

Admins:

1) If somebody complains via PM and says people are sending them nasty messages. Ask for proof...ask them to fwd the messages to you...dont just take their word for it.

2) If it is true, confront the person with it via PM. If it is obscenities...and i mean...proper insulting obscenities...ban them almost straight away.

3) Email the person with infomation on their banning. This would take under a min to do and would be conveinient for all sides.

4) Reply to their emails.

5) Give them one more chance if they say they will never do it again...if they break this rule...break them. And delete everything about them/part of them.

6) Always check the IP of the sender. And never put a person down due to their 'History'.

7) Have a active email account that you check frequently.

Mods:

1) Do your job. I think there is only Dan who does a decent job on the Mod stuff. As one of the Mods i spoke to said that the Mod status 'Was just a bit of fun'

2) Try and help.

3) Although Mods are considered lower than Admins...i believe that Mods should have a active role...like...erm...a Lawyer...for example.

Forumers:

1) Dont make fake complaints.

2) Dont be little sh*ts...wich...most of u are.

3) Be sensible in serious situations.

4) Dont wind up people who are easy to wind up.

By the way...i forgot to add...these are just suggestions. And the topic wasn't meant to be for sympathy...i thought i mite aswell tell the truth as i am gonna be banned again as soon as the admins find out about this. And come on...most of you are...i didn't say all of you were...but most of you...i aint mentioning any names...but one of them got me banned...Although it was only half his fault and half Abebabes for believing him i still think i should be un-banned. Abebabe is ignoring my emails wich i find blatantly rude...sure...most of the forumers haven't hit puberty yet but they should be treated the same way as all the others...faverotism is not on...or however you spell the word!!

And Doug where did i say i was un-happy? And since when did putting some decent points across become whining...see...this is exactly what im talking about. Most of the forumers dont know what the older ones are talking about/trying to put across and yet they reply with something completly irrelevant or some conclusion they have just come to in their un-developed brains. If you read something...and think you know what its about...ask someone older...and dont put something like 'Stop whining' cos its like....sooooooooo not whining. If i was whining non of the stuff i typed up would be relevant and i would go on about everything being pointless...when its not...cos the forums has a good setup...its just some of the rules that are abit sketchy.

I'm sure the admins have better things to do with their time than looking for members to ban for no reason whatsoever. Start taking responsibility for your own actions.

1. I repeat, stop whining and go away.

2. I guarantee that I'm much older than you are. I also type better and spell better.

3. You are clearly unhappy with the way the forums are managed, and you think that most of us are "little sh*ts". Stop denying it.

4. My post was not irrelevant. It responded directly to both the content and tone of your post.

5. The rules aren't the least bit sketchy. They ask you to treat members with respect, which you demonstrably fail to do repeatedly.

6. Stop whining, go away, and leave us alone.

Id just like to say Doug you have proven my point. Not only do you have no idea what the WHOLE story is...but you are wanting to get involved for no particular reason. And did i say Admins went around looking for people to ban? Errrr...no. I just said they went for one side of the story before getting the other side. Not only that but they went on a suffient lack of evidence (By the way...when i say 'They' i mean Abebabe...as Sydney said he had nothing to do with it) And Doug...are you trying to wind me up by doing everything i said annoyed me...how old are you anyway!? Ohhh...and i take responsibility for my actions...just not for others.

I don't need to know the whole story. I know that you got banned under another screen name, so you shouldn't be here in the first place. I also know that you're back here whining and complaining about the forums and blaming other people for your actions, not to mention insulting the people here. You put up the post for public consumption -- if you wanted to limit your message to the admins and mods you should have e-mailed them or PM'd them. I got involved because you insulted my friends and me, so as far as I see it, I'm perfectly within my rights. You told me how to behave as a forumer -- I'm telling you I'm having none of it. And If you're easily wound up, that's your problem; develop some self-control.

Yes...the way that banning is managed though...And if i was un-happy with the forums in itself i would have left ages ago. And i said most of you were little shits cos its true...the amount of arguments that have been started in Oddchat over a petty thing like me saying that OWI games arn't really that good. The little ones start arguments over the smallest things...thats quite shitty.

I was speaking 2 1 in Oddchat who refused 2 talk to the Admins cos he was blatantly satisfied that he knew them well enuff to kn0 the answer...this isn't doing their job correct. The mod shud really have spoken 2 the admins/suggested sumat in the employee lounge and helped abit.

I dint say they had 2 b...but they cud reply 2 emails...Abebabe jus' ignored every mail i sent 2 her...i find that very rude!! And mistakes is 1 thing...not excepting they were mistakes is another!!

I did...i sent a email 2 Sydney and Abebabe...Sydney replied bak saying he did not know n e thing about it and it was Kristens call and so i shud speak 2 her...wich turned out 2 b hard as she doesn't reply 2 n e emails and seems 2 like ignoring me!!

I know AB has problems with her email sometimes and that she had (don't know if she still does) 3 different addresses not all functional...perhaps it would be better of you sent your story via PM to her instead. Plus if I remember right she doesn't check her email very often...so a Pm would be better.
So to that I say I don't think she is ignoring you...rather I think she just hasn't seen or never got your message...

Edit: its not bad spelling...he is using shorthand, which is a bit annoying...IMO

Edit: NOW I remember what I was going to say...

Recently there have been peeps (and most likely before) that have been nicking forum member user names...it is possible the 'mod' you talked you was an impersonator and/or from a different board. Just a theory...

Y am i annoying. And...my side is i never did it. I was banned accidently the week i was supposed 2 b sending the PM's but nobody took that in2 account!!

These suggestion are more common sence than anything. And if we break any of them. It's because it's fun. Now I'm not saying that we go out and annoy people on purpose but if I think someone deserves a flaming because of something they said, then they'll get it.

I'm in kind of a rush this morning, so I'll just say one thing:

I merely told Jacob/Oryon I don't have enough knowledge of the banning to respond to his questions, and that he should contact Abe Babe. I didn't question Abe Babe's judgement, as Jacob's post seems to suggest.

I would like Jacob to be un-banned. Oryon and Zyraxx have been deleted. But the other 2 are still up and running. God...i feel like Bruce Wayne, Peter Parker and Clark Kent all in one...!! All of the others were cos i got banned...Gawwwwd...i am the King...ahem...Queen of Bannedness!!

Wow; 5 out of 6 words spelled correctly and so little of that annoying shorthand that in my opinion by itself ought to get you banned again. Oh . . . er . . . I forgot, most of the rest of your post is a complete mess.

The only remotely immature thing I've done is bait you by telling you to stop whining more than once. I'll admit that was immature, but on the other hand, your whiny posts got you what you deserved. Oops, I guess my opening paragraph above was a little immature, too. I guess I'm hoping you'll melt down again.

If you want to be ignored, don't post. You've been banned under at least 3 different accounts -- why don't I believe that one of them was a "mistake." The fact that you can get on a different computer and sign back up here doesn't make you any less welcome. You don't belong here unless one of the admins decides to give you another chance. And the bottom line is that I'm not going to ignore your posts because your reactions to my responses are really, really, entertaining.
