My day has come! Jet Set Radio Future!!!
 

Sweet Buddha's left nut, this game is great! So, even though I'm not anywhere close to beating it, I decided to right one of my little reviews:

Story - 5 of 5
Great! It's cool to see that some characters have grown up since Jet Grind Radio, and you also get to meet some of their relatives! The character development is a big improvement, even with 20+/- playable. Plus, insted of 3 rival gangs and the law, you have 6 rival gangs and the Rokkaku goons. Remember those fat pervs, Poison Jam? Well, they've beefed up to say the least, and the Noise Tanks look like something right out of a nuclear winter! One new gang I'm particually fond of, Rush99, is a group of scantly clad, anti-sushi, punker chicks!

Gameplay - 4 of 5
This took some getting used to. I was used to the fast bouncy arcade like Jet Grind Radio. It seems slow at first, but I've adapted. The police fights seem more like boss battles than... well, police fights. But massive enviroments and lots of grinds make up for this.

Graphics - 5 of 5
Cel Shading at it's best! The game has very few "slow processing" times unless you completely plaster an area with graffiti.

Music - 5 of 5
Many tracks, but only a few actually seem to play in the levels. It does have quite a variety. Everything from Japanese punk (yay!), to Hard Core Techno (yay!), to Eminem (BOO!), who seems to get played way too much.

Overall - 10 of 10
It is obvious that the creaters were striving for less of a arcade feel, and make JSRF look more like an Anime Series. They did a great job. If you like anime or cel shading or graffiti or inline skating or electro music and hate cops, than JSRF is for you.

I suppose I'll have to check it out...

That's been my most-anticipated game for the Xbox since I played a pre-completion demo at the Xbox Xperience in Manchester. I'm going to buy it as soon as I can afford it, which shouldn't be long!

I got it recently. :D It so totally rocks.Especially Multi-player.

what?!?!?!? jet set radio for x box? whoa, we have jet grind radio for dreamcast. its like, is it gonna be called jet set or grind, it was changed in america.. o well, thatll be cool. and if anyone can, download the song super brother from it, its cool.....

I believe only America's title was JGR. Sega had a battle over it with a radio station in America that went by the name of JSR... go figure! Well, it's called JSRF now, so they can't do a damn thing!

He he... Thumb Bandits just descibed JSRF as 'the game that XBox fans would sell their knackers for'.

It looked pretty good on the telly... the cel shading's cool. I'd like to actually play it before deciding whether it's better than AirBlade, though.

1. I wouldn't dare do something like that after reading Dan's story!

2. It plays very nicely! Even though the demo code I tried was probably even older than what TB played!
It would have been nice if I had enough time to find some cans to spray with before I got dragged out the door kicking and screaming!

Nah, Tab changed his name after the first Rokkaku empire fell. So did a few others:
Mew is now Ryth (pronounced Ruth).
Slate is now Soda.
Pirahna[sp] is now Boogie.

... there will probably be more, I'm little over half way through the game, and I've only got 2/5 of the characters!

Heh heh,thanks,SeaRex.Of course,I can't remember any of those ppl from JGR,I never really got that far..I wasn't cut out for getting secret characters.But,Hey..Wasn't YoYo in Jet Grind Radio,too?If not,I remember someone who looks quite similar to him.

Yes, YoYo was in JGR. He has grown up in JSRF, and he got rid of that stupid hooded sweater he wore.

I see.Anyways,it seems I've got a little farther in it :D Now I got Combo,close to getting Garam.Or something.

I have enough for JSRF!! I should be getting it any day now, I might even give my review of it.:D :D
