Hi there! Whell. Do you like dogs or cats most? I prefer dogs. Cats are stupid, they just eat and sleep and bring mice into you're home. When you pet them, the can lay there purring and looking like they enjoy it. But suddenly thay claw you'r legs without warning... it hurts so! Dogs dont have sharp vicius little claws. There big and loveble teddybears. How you can learn things. Dogs are faithful buddies. When everybody is angry at you, you get fierd or something... A dog will alwas be happy to see you. So... Whats you're apinion?

I like them both. They're both animals and I love all animals. I prefer dogs, but I also like cats.

No, cats are not stupid. They're very clever animals. And no, they're not evil and they're not vicious. Of course some can be, but the same goes for dogs.

If a cat stares at you, just turn around and don't look at it. If you stare at a cat you're saying 'fight me' or 'I want your territory'.

Cats enjoy being stroked because it's nostalgic - it reminds them of being licked by their mothers. Only if you touch a tender or ticklish spot will you be swiped at - the belly is usually very sensitive to cats, as is the tail.

Cats bring mice home because humans are really stupid and can't even hunt. I mean, what sort of pathetic bipedal mammal doesn't even catch it's own food?

Dogs don't have sharp claws unless they have sharp claws. Which a lot of dogs do. Dogs that don't have sharp claws have sharp claws because they've de-evolved from a hunting pack animal into a pet.

Cats all the way. Dogs are just so... so... active... :P I mean, I like a nice lazy animal that you can just sit and stroke without it wanting you to actually get up and play with it... Plus, Cats are more fun to play with, since you can get a piece of string, and make them all confused without even having to stand up :D...

Both animals are cool.

Cats: Good:They're docile (sometimes) and will leave you alone if you wish.They are at least clean with their bodily wastes.

Bad: Cats are bad because they're sometimes just mean.And if you do want company,they wont be there.Plus they can't remove other humans,as in theives and such.


Dogs:Good:They are lovable,happy,friendly,mans best friend,and they CAN remove "unwanted guests",depending on their size and strength.

Bad:They sometimes smell bad,bad breath,alot of responsibility.Wouldn't you rather be mauled by a smaller cat than a bigger dog?

I like Both Cats and Dogs... With a Sweet and Sour Sauce. :lol:

How can I choose, dogs and cats are both adorable animals. If I had to choose one, I guess I would say dogs.

cats b cool!!! actually, they dont let themselves be trained because they think of us as equals. were just really big kitties to them, and they bring us home mice and birds to show afectionism and stuff. they want us to lik ethem. i hate my bro though, hes mean to my cat. he like makes her hiss and stuff:( :( :( basicly its like low level abuse, hes an evil git who is such a jerk and im realted to him...my cat is so sute, specialy when she rolls over on her tummy or just randomly falls over.... but some dogs are cool, like mini dobermans and stuff.

Cats all the way. My cat is so cute. Dogs? Eugh. The only reason they're called mans best friend is because spelt backwards it spells 'God.' I hate dogs I like wolves and my uncles dog but they are the only dogs I like. See with cats they exercise themselves which is so great. I play with my cat with some string and she likes her belly rubbed she's soo cute!

1. My dog has calmed down allot. It loves to just lay there being stroked. But yes, yung dogs are hyper... My puppy, when i pett it, it makes a sound like cats do (puring) only laouder and it comes from the throught.

2. Dogs dont stink! Not more than anyother animal does. Id say cats smel more... every time I smell them i start snezing. Whell im actuly alergick, but thats beside the point!;)

And yes. I was overracting a bit when i postid it. I really dont mind cats that much...but, still. Dogs are famely... cats just walk around sometimes being petted. Butt really... Has you're cat come up to you when you're about to go outside and loked you right into the eys and you can see that its thinking "Dont go without me master! I dont want to be left alone!". Dogs love you, and there hard to replace. Cats... you just by a new one for a few bucks and thats over with...

Personally, I'm a cat person. The cat I used to own used to sleep on my head at night and clean my hair. Very affectionate. Then I got allergic....
Anywho, I like cats better, but I think puppies are cuter than kittens.

Dogs are the ultimate utility animal. Firefighters, guards, retrievers, hunters, police officers, bomb detecters, drug finders, and best friends! I mean, has a cat ever saved a humans life? Ever hear of a seeing eye cat? I mean, what the hell does a cat do except look at you sullenly and shriek for more kibble? Guy cats are nice though. anyways, dogs take craps outside! nothing is as annoying as taking out the litter pan in my own opinion. Cats pester you when you sleep, cats hide and bite and scratch. My dog has yet to do any of that! So, dogs, because they ARE ACTIVE and at least intelligent. They realize that scratch and be scratched notion, cats just be petted and scratch! also, a cat in heat is utter meowing torture! I couldn't get a wink for 3 days straight!

I like both, but if I had to choose it's be cats!

Cats aren't that docile though, Templeton (my cat) is the most energetic, wild and agressive cat I've ever seen. He dashes from one end of the house to the other, climbing up the doors and knocking over whatever lay in his path. If he's in a bad mood and you try to pat him, he'll swipe or bite you. I often wish he was the kind of cat who would curl up on your lap and go to sleep.

I also like dogs, but they're often too smelly. I like big, smooth dogs that want to protect you, I can't stand little yappy ones.

1. Cats do not do that. They are soo nice and friendly and they don't shriek for more food.

2. I think you have that wrong the male cats are the more aggressive then the female cat.

3. Most (If not all) Grown up cats do not use the litter pan only little kittens do.

sydney, i believe the problem about your cat randomly running around the house is a built up pent of energy that has to be realeased, aggression may be caused from th cats past or maybe you treat it wrong(which i hope you dont). one bad thing is people get dogs, and just leave them in their backyard just so they can have one but dont care properly for them. thats what i hate, i despise. dogs are lyal, but we have a pool and no room for a dog, not to mention that a city plot isnt really good for any medim to large sized dog....

I love dogs. Big dogs, small dogs, fat dogs, skinny dogs, dogs with long hai, urrr i think you get the point:lol: . I love dogs when they are puppies the most, especially golden retrievers. I only like kittens if they dont run from you , i like to play with sting and stuff with kittens but my vote goes to dogs, 99.9% dogs, 0.01%cats

What I don't understand is how people can actually let dogs jump up on them and let them lick their faces. I find it very disturbing and so disgusting. I was watching a person let their dog do this yesturday. Me and my dad were staring at him and we look at each other and were like sick it was gross.

One problem with both,although I already said cats.

Both have problems with face licking.Both lick their "poopchutes",and then they lick you.Also,a known fact that something in cat's mouths is the equivalent to ecoli.No kidding..

I like both. We have a cat who's been in the family since I was four - she's now sixteen, has a paunch, and spends all day sunbathing - she still catches moles, though, and tries to catch pheasants. She used to catch starlings by jumping off the extension roof and snatching them out of the sky... And she was smart, she used to visit next door if she thought we hadn't fed her enough, and get food from them as well.

Our dog is very energetic - she's a border collie (although she doesn't look much like one; her legs are too short, giving her a distinct resemblance to a walking rug) and she knows the words "ball", "toy", "walk" and "cat" (amongst her vast and varied repertoire of other words guaranteed to send her into a frenzy, "see-ay-tee" being another one). So she's energetic at times - but then, she's equally content to just flake out under the kitchen table and sleep all day. (She knows the word "Grandma" as well, bizarrely - and who it refers to. She's a strange dog.)

Her sister was completely different (we had to send her away to be adoptedby someone else, though, as the breeder didn't tell us that one of the worst things you can do is adopt two bitches from the same litter - they'll be constantly at each others throats, competing for dominance). She was a very smart dog, we reckon, and she used to like to sit on the kitchen doorstep and watch the house martins. She was easy to walk, as well - we'd wander down to the field they held the market on saturdays, and just let her out - she'd chase seagulls and rooks and rabbits until she was tired, then come back. And she used to like playing ball, as well - she'd let her sister chase it most of the way and bring it most of the way back, then take it away from her when she got to within a few metres of you and present it to you herself, as if she'd been the one to chase it halfway across the field... ahh, memories...

So as you can't put a specific label on any animal - eg cats are lazy, dogs are stupid - I'd have to say I like both equally.
