I have a meetle and mug theory
 

I'm sure we've all seen those screenshots of MO when it was in its early stages of development of that level in the night time with meetles flying around up above, there was speculation that meetles and mugs would be in MO. But obviously, they weren't.
Disappointing, I know as they were supposed to be have meetles as a vehicle and mugs as weapons, but they didn't make the final version.
But, could they be in ME? Maybe, but if their larvae is raised on different diets and treated differently, they either grow into a meetle (on veggies), or a mug (on meat). So, in ME, you may have to raise this larvae into either of the two so they can be used in particular levels. I think, by a long shot, that the fuzzles Munch rescued in MO are actually the larval form of meetles/mugs, ready to be raised into either, yes, meetles or mugs. Sounds feasible and maybe Quarma could come into it, if you raise meetles, you can airlift Mudarchers and Tomahawkers into one of the final levels to raid the facility and get Abe and Munch in to do their rescuing stuff, or if you don't raise them properly into meetles, you get mugs and can't get into the final levels because mugs can't fly and the game finishes early and you get the bad ending.
I know this was long and very abstract, but it sounds like it'd give an Oddworld game some sim style gameplay and a different aspect of play.
Also, if meetles/mugs aren't in the Quintology, they'll for sure be in Hand of Odd.
Opinions anyone?

Yeah, it was a theory you had Oddbodd. A feasible one. I wonder what the meeps will be used for in the future? Probably not much at all in the Quintology, but maybe in a sim style game perhaps.

It's funny you say that... because when I used to think that Meetle Lavae were Fuzzles. It even used to be on my website that I thought they were the same in my Meetles/Mugs page. I since learned they were different (or so we are being told).

I'm glad it isn't Fuzzles or Meeps. They're better as their own seperate species. Plus, it's nice to see some stuff with hair finally.

Yeah. The pink things, meetle and mugs are all linked together, fuzzles are fuzzles and meeps are meeps. And that's that.
