I prefered abe's oddysee story line the most. It was a lot simpler before. Abe and his people trapped in a factory going to be eaten. Now we have loads of new creatures and places. Im not sayin there is nuthin wrong with that, Its just you can lose track somtimes.

It also seems it is hard for OWI to squash all the new stuff and old stuff in to games. I havent played munch's oddysee yet but i have already read in the forum that sligs dont talk to slogs no more and glucks dont talk to sligs. More and more comunication is what i like.

I have also seen a picture of Munch's gamespeak and it looks pretty simple to me for a main character. :fuzsad:

Even though abe's exoddus had 2 disks, that story line and role kinda sucked..... :fuzsad:

AO, by far! It was such an original idea for a video game, showing the faults of human corporations and such. It was also very engaging, intelligent and had nice, subtle touches of humour. It also introduced a great cast of creatures and lands. While AE had a good plot for a video game, it was just a remake of the original and it had some really stupid, sophomoric humour. MO had an alright storyline, but it lost a lot of the social parody and wasn't really that original.

i think oddworld abe's oddysee has the best storyline, because it's higly original and it's characters are highly unqiue

AO has many suprises and twists in it, like the ending for example: U choose 2 be bad or good to the Muds, and it either ends in tears or U R saved! :)

I'd have to vote for Munch's Oddysee. The in-game storyline is probably rubbish, but the full plot, with the dysfunctional relationships, promotion-seeking possession, full-sneak infiltration, kidnapping, which was simplified for the actual game.

I voted for Abe's Oddysee, althought I would have voted for Munch's Oddysee if they didn't make so many changes to the plot. I belive Abe's Oddysee was an amazing and uniqe story. Sience Munch's Oddysee had so many plot changes I belive that Munch's Exoddus will soon be taking the place as my favorite story line.:fuzsmile:

i bet if OWI reads this they would be deadly disappointed that the sequel wasn't that rad :)

I bet OWI do read these forums, after all they need to know what the fans think and this is linked to the oddworld site. I hope they do read this so they realise what people want and make future games better. :fuzblink:

Alf occasionally posts here, so it's reasonable to assume he reads the messages to...sometimes...

Oddworld are very kind in taking up fan ideas, which isn't always a good thing. No more Bats...how boring. They even got sued for including emotions in Abe's Exoddus, just to please a fan...who, so loyally, sued them for it.

i just cant belive that, id be well chuffed if they used one of my idea's. The emotions was one of the best features from exodus, the person who did that is one hell of a spoilt brat :fuzmad:
