Don't be disappointed with Munch!
People Why are a lot of you disapointed in the game? I mean it's just Munch's Oddessy. We will see those creatures and characters in M.E. Look at Abes Oddessy for instance we only saw a few of the creatures and characters. Remember Munch's Oddessy is only the biginning of Munch's story. And I bet it's going to be like that for every oddworld game. It's the Exodus game we should be looking forword to not the Oddessy. Yes the Oddessy game is wounderful. But the follow up story is even greater. You have to admit Abes Exodus was better and far more interesting than Abes Oddessy because there is unieque places and more creatures. Munch will be the same way. But for now we should appreciate Munch's Oddessy. Oddworld came a long way for what it was before and believe me I know what it takes to make a game like this. Treat the Oddessy games like a type of introduction to the actual plot of the character's story where the Exodus is the full gist of it.

We are disappointed because we thought there will be a lot more news in the game And OWI never say we were wron, tere are news, but not A lot.. and they cut some things, we thought we will have more... but... no

The reason some people are disappointed is because the game was originally coded for PS2, now that it switched, a lot of the code has been changed and the game doesnt run as smooth as it could, ive said this about 15 times, but you guys might be too thick headed too realize that.

Im only a little dissapointed and heres why... They told us about all these characters and told us about how they were going to be in MO (Sam,Margret,Sea Rexes,Mud Flubs,Meetle larvae,Meetles,Mugs... I could keep going.) then they just scratched them from the plot. But MO is still an increible game and I am GREATLY impressed with the graphics etc.

hey jotch, go screw a stump. i'm not disappointed with the game because it doesn't run smoothly. i'm diappointed because of the lack of intelligent and fresh level design. ohhh possess a slig here, run from a paramite there. and the rest of the time do the same god damned thing you've been doing in every stage since the beggining. i'm so tired of the repetitive level designed that i've all but stopped playing the game. but i have faith that OWI will fix this with the next game. i'd rather have one OWI game per decade that is as good as AE than one every 4 years that are like MO.

Yes,the puzzles might be a little the sameish,but have you ever stopped and looked around one of the levels. Think about the amazing graphics,and the great Gamespeak. Have fun visiting Oddworld and who cares if some of the stuff is missing (Even though hardly any is)? It's Oddworld...in 3D,doesn't this please you enough?
MO may not be perfect,but it's OWI first go at 3D,and it's a pretty amazing try too. I can't wait till it comes out here! |

ok man I have a suggestion for you man why dident they just stay whith the PS2 and PC for M.O and then change to xbox for M.E it would have been much eseier dont you rate.

I don't think it is bad I like it actually but I wish it was the original idea oh well I know we will be blown awey with Munch's Exoddus.

And Wise Abe I am a true Oddworld fan That is pretty much why I bought the X-Box. I waited almost two years for it. When I found out it was for X-Box I was like so deturmine to get it and I did sucessfully.

Cool, good job :D. I really wanted an Xbox for Halo, but I decided to get MO along with it and now I'm glad I bought an Xbox just to play that too.

JSRF will definetly cool. However, if you have an Xbox I would highly suggest the game Halo. It's one of the best games ever made, IMHO.

Guys maybe they missed stuff out but they were rushed like think whith it on PS2 it had already been in the makin for 18 months and it wasnt finished but know they had to finish it in 12 months on xbox.
But whith that aside it is still seriously pro game.And think if you hadent known about the stuff they left out then it would have been a cool game well just think of it that way its not what you expected but its a REALLY cool game!!! :cool: |
