Is hand of odd a part of the overall story of the quintology?
 

For some reason I think hand of odd doesant go with the story so far. There is no new hero like abe or Munch. And I don't think it will be like a follow up story from M.E. maybe it is just an oddworld interactive game where it doesn't go with the story of the quintology. I don't know!

I'm not sure, but I read that Hand of Odd timeline will be placed in the past, before Abe's adventures.

He cool, so we go to see RuptureFarms, the SoulStorm Brewery intact, very cool...

With a special "Abe code" destroy all the industrial facilities, yeah !

It's not known what the storyline to Oddworld: Hand of Odd is, for the public at least. At one point the plot was indeed set in the past, and it still might convert back to that.

There were also central characters around which the story revolved and evolved, although that might not be true, or still be implemented.

And to answere your other question, no Hand of Odd will not be part of the Quintology it will actually be the beginging of the Habitales series.

No. Hand of Odd, being part of the Habitales series, is about the ordinary lives of the people of Oddworld. No Heroes. No Revolution. Not part of the Quintology.

I hope they make it where your character is actually on screen and if he dies you lose . (If anyone has ever played Warlords Battlecry for PC you know what im talking about) <~ Great game.

example: if you are a Landmugger you would have a Glukkon on screen thats only purpose is to survive the match. And in WB if the heroe is around any troops the troops attack and defense increases as long as the heroe is around.

oh and btw Hand of Odd will be a real-time game if you dont already know.
