Molluck Dead Or ALive?

Update: I decided to name it differently to catch alittle attention.

I read alot on Munch's Oddysee before it was coming out that Molluck would make a return in MO. I beat the game back in November and he wasn't in there. Any chance He'll be in Munch's
Exoddus, or what is your opinion is he dead or alive?

The only information I get about Mulok after the destruction Of Rupture farms is this:

Missing in action since the destruction of RuptureFarms, Molluck is the subject of an exhaustive search by his masters, who hope they’ll find Molluck alive if only so they can have him shot.

Where did you read that?

Al the Vykker 12-27-2001 10:09 PM

Yes I remember that, Thanxs and also the interview with one of the game designers said that Molluck always took the easy way out by dying, or did he. Thanks a bunch. I admire you very much, seems like no one wants to talk to me. :( :(

Al the Vykker 12-27-2001 11:39 PM

I read it on VideoGames.com ( Now Gamespot ) under designer diaries .
and it also said that we would return to the ruins of Rupture Farms. Sorry for taking a while to reply :)

hmmm. I herd a lot about go again to Rupture Farms...

I like moluck, I find him very cool, and he has a lot of Industrial power, and lot of moolah!

Pilot 12-28-2001 08:52 PM

Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Alive. He is alive. I'm taking a big risk by telling you... although I guess it's not so bad on my part is you've already heard that he was returning.

Oddsville 12-28-2001 10:27 PM

Thanks Pilot, to Al the Vykker, Rupture Farms was susposed to be in Munch's Oddysee (as where alot of other things)but they had to be cut out because of a tight deadline. Im pretty sure they will be in Munch's Exoddus.

I think Molluck is still alive. There is no way he can be dead. He is the glukken protical son, he just can't die so easily like that. But you never know. I have this feeling that we will see him in the last game but this time he will be very different than before. He will be evil looking than he was in AO. he definatly will have a grudge for Abe. But this time Abe has all of his buddies to help him defeat him. Be prepared for a surprize! MAY ODD HELP YOU!

Yes, Mulok the Glukkon will probably look more evil and beat up when he returns. I mean when he comes' back he probably won't look the same after all that time he was looking for Abe.

This confuses me, if they want him dead why in AE the three head huncho guys were talking about wanting and needing him to coem back.

Eibu 12-29-2001 08:59 PM

From a Reality POV: Many plot lines have been mixed around in the games and they may not go with eachother. It's just a game so sometimes you have to get over it.

From a "fan" POV: Well in AE the Glukkons didn't want him to come back all they said was (I believe this was Gen. Dripik) "If Mulluk ever comes back we're screwed!" Besides I can't see any reason for going back to Rupture Farms unless there's going to be something new to find in the "ruins".

Roop 12-29-2001 11:07 PM

Well sorry i got there emotions confused (im not being sarcastic) but they still didnt want to kill him they were even afraid of them.

Al the Vykker 12-30-2001 01:02 PM

Yes I too Know of Rupture Farms originally in Munch's Oddysee, And it almost Reminds Me I think Molluck will have turned into a Sub Dweller and look like a nomand and have grown large an more twisted than before...

Thank You all you never no when he will return......

Pilot 12-30-2001 04:34 PM

Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*I know when he's returning, (the poor wretch..) But I'm afraid that you all will just have to be extremely patient.

Fear is often the reason for wanting to kill someone.

Here's what I think the current situation is like:

Mullock's Superiors are furious with him because they had invested a lot of money in Rupture Farms, and by 'allowing' it to be shut down, he has caused them to lose all of their money. That is why they want to have him shot.

Mullock's Subordinates [such as those in AE] are fairly pleased that he has gone, as it has led to promotions all round, and greater freedom to Siphon off the profits of their various organisations for themselves. Since Mullock is believed to be dead, they feel more or less safe, but there will always be the fear in the back of their heads that Mullock will return, be reinstated as their superior, and be pissed off with them...

paramiteabe 12-31-2001 10:33 AM

All of this relates to my idea of Rupture Farms. I think since Molluck could be alive still he had time to change his franchise and create something huge. bigger and badder than before. In secret of coarse. So nobody knows about it, not even the Lady Margret. Which in turn has to probbally do something with Sam. I bet ya Sam could have been transported to this new Rupture Farms controlled by Molluck in a underground nursery of coarse. That is why Molluck wants to turn his whole slave labor force into shish-kabobs called Mudokin Pops. With Sam being there, Molluck gets an everlasting supply of slaves and food. It's a profit thing you know! Hey maybe since Molluck would be doing this in secret, he would be working with some new magog species. maybe chroniclars. I herd something that they don't like Lady Margret and the Glukkens. So maybe Molluck switched sides and became friends with the Chroniclars. Now Lady Margret has something to truely worry about. Molluck doesent care about the Magog he wants all of it for him self. He is the true enimy of Oddworld. And he will do anything to get it.

I think molluck will come back as a zombie by the vykkers wierd science.

Al the Vykker 12-31-2001 02:45 PM

Yeah thats a cool idea toxicity. Vykkers can do anything. And Paramite Abe thats cool sounds like an epic battle. Maybe at the end of the quintology the Magog will team up with the Muds to stop Mullock once and for all. Here is a reference for the octigi family.

Welcome to the Forums toxicity on behalf of all of us!! :D :D :) :) ;)

Does anyone else have any ideas? :)

Disgruntled Intern 01-01-2002 01:41 AM

I personally would like to think that once Mulluck realised his career was over, he reverted back to his spiritual Glukk side.
Since gluks used to be spiritual creatures along with the muds, i think it would be cool if he was living in the 'wild' possibly with a group of misfit Muds.
i dunno, seems sorta unlikely, but then it's ODDWORLD we're talking about- so you never know.

Al the Vykker 01-01-2002 03:07 AM

That could be true also,it is good that we are getting many opinion sthough. I think the truth will be revealed in the coming year I believe. This is my 100th post and the firsst of the New year. :)

Sincerely Al the Vykker

Al the Vykker 01-02-2002 01:53 AM

Does anyone still have any Ideas!! I will not let this topic die as my others did!! ODD I double posted again.

EDIT: Man its funny to read your old posts again, and see how different you were when you were younger lol.

Capri Ream 01-02-2002 02:49 AM

I think that Molluck is going to come back at the end and go on an all out mudoken-hunt for Abe's head on a platter. I think that all the other glukkons would probly pee their pants (so to speak) if Molluck ever came back. But that's just my tid bit of idiocy.

kleeng 01-02-2002 02:27 PM

hmn...

Wel I think he's definetly alive. I figure big face sent him to some distant part of oddworld. So currently molluck is out there trying to find his way back to civillization and meanwhile plotting his revenge.
Mhua Ha Ha Ha (evil laugter here)

But when he's gona return I don't have a clue. :confuzzled:

Pilot said that he will return but not in his best interest, he is not allowed to tell when Molluck will return.

RoN_Rancor 01-04-2002 07:23 PM

Every time I see that picture of the Octigi family, I an odd feeling that we are going to see the Octigi 0.2 sometime in the course of the games. Notice how it is darker and in somewhat better detail then the other octigi members? Also notice how the more animal-looking members are not shaded in (possibly extinct?)

Whether this has anything to do with molluck, I don't know but that 0.2 has always seems important in the picture...

Al the Vykker 01-04-2002 08:37 PM

Quite possible that it shows the evolution of the Glukkon species....

Edit: Yes that was always a funny post. I will always laugh at how I was typing a response fast and put FLukkon. Hey a new species.

angry slig 01-04-2002 11:01 PM

There is no dought (i cant spell) in my mind that mulluck is alive. And i have a couple of reasons.
1.He is never confimede dead.
2.This is a qutoe from MO's instruction guide. Note the words in capital."Future games of the Oddworld Quintology introduce new dilemmas, new villans, and most importantly new and unlikely heros like Abe and Munch. BE FOREWARNED: THE INHABITANTS ALL LIVE ON ODDWORLD TOGETHER, AND AS THE STORY UNFOLDS, CHARACTERS THAT ARE OVERLOOKED COULD PROVE REALLT IMPORTANT IN THE BIG PICTURE.
3.If that is in Mo's guide it is probably pointed to the first 3 games and mullock has been overlooked. I also believe somting will happen to oddworld.

RoN_Rancor 01-05-2002 08:02 PM

What the heck is a Flukkon?
