question about the forums to the admins
 

Hey guys how did ya made the forums? Did you type in all the code of your own? I was just taking a look on it and thought how much work it was.

Ultimate Bulletin Board is a pre-packaged forum software. The base code comes with the program.

From there you specify your own colors, fonts, images, etc (Sydney done most of this).

On top of that you can add hacks (or additions) that give you additional features. These include the custom photos, member ranks, last post in the topic listing and the fuzzle Oddicons. There are people around that write the hacks, and you need to add them into the forum. This takes a long time in itself as if you don't add them into the right part of the programming code, it can screw the whole forum up. I done all the hacks as I have had some experience in this area.

There are a few more features I'm planning on adding, but we will see these in the future.

A question: Where can you get Ultimate bulletin board? Does it cost your own web space, or can you hire some space on a special server? Tell me everything!!! Maybe I start forums one day. Would be cool.

Hey admins, what is better? That ultimate bulletin board, or ezboard? And where can I get both of them? Are they free? Do they require your own webspace or not?
