Check out the proceedings at Microsoft's mobile Xbox tour - they may be coming near you!


Microsoft’s Xbox Odyssey tour stopped by San Francisco and a few GameSpy Spys were invited for a sneak peak. The tour featured two 53-foot semis, a SoBe bus providing refreshments, and more than 52 Xbox kiosks. Among the games on display were NASCAR Heat, Shrek, Mad Dash, NASCAR Thunder, NHL Hitz 20-02, Dead or Alive 3, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, NFL Fever, Halo, Project Gotham Racing, Fuzion Frenzy, and Simpsons: Road Rage. Microsoft has plans for the tour to hit over 33 cities, but so far only the next three stops have been announced. Keep checking the Xbox Odyssey site and PlanetXbox to see if the tour will stop by your town. For now, here are the next three scheduled stops and some pictures that will give you an idea of what you can see.


11/8 – 11/10 - Los Angeles – Santa Monica Pier

11/15 – 11/17 - San Diego – San Diego Sports Arena

11/30 – 12/2 - Phoenix – Mill Ave Fall Fest

I actually saw a few sites mentioning the Xbox Oddysee (ok, I can't spell it the real way!!!) Tour ... but none of them mentioned that Munch's Oddysee was going to be part of it ... so I decided not to put the information on it on my site. They only mentioned 3 games for the tour I think they were NFL Fever, DOA3 and maybe one of the Nascar games.

Since we're (kinda sorta) on the topic, just what the heck is SoBe? I gather it's a beverage, and Oddbodd's utter and complete negative obsession, but what kind (besides "the worst kind," Oddbodd)?

And Oddbodd, is it something about the actual product that you hate, or just the fact that its bunging up MO?

S*be is like a weird drinkey type thing in a bottle... I am not going to actually say S*be for oddbodd's sake. I know what it is like to have a violent, insane reaction to a word I hate... *shudders* Peep... homie... those words are so disturbing... evil! EVIIIIIIIIIL! I really don't mind S*be.

Well, yeah... I was just kinda confirming that. S*be is a tea/juice drink... it is a healthy beverage, I guess... It is a mix of juice and tea... heres the link to the site: web page

Okay, so SoBe is a drink - it might as well be an Oddworldly product for all I know, though - I'd never heard of it until it was in OW. I don't see the big deal about it. Now can we get back to interesting discussion?

I wish there'd be one of them near me... *sighs* But I got uni... Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait.
