The Mummy Returns
 
I know it's an old movie, but who saw it? I saw it when it first came out and it was pretty darn bad. It was just scene after scene of cgi with no plot. It wasn't even funny at the parts that were supposed to be funny. (Except for the eye patch part.) I thought it was just stupid.

I saw "The Mummy returns".I found it good!
In Germany the movie came out for 2 or 3 months to the cinemas.I found this movie not bad!The two ladies who have fight was cool.Or the scorpion king.

Actually, I didn't like The Mummy Returns as much as the first Mummy. I mean, obviously, you watch Mummy movies solely for the special effects, but a lot of them were recycled from the first movie. And after Star Wars Episode 1, computer effects just don't pack the same punch anymore.

(Edit: Hey Blue, is something wrong with your banner? For some reason it's not showing up, at least not to me. It was my favorite one!)

That film was alright...just schlocky fun that to wind down after work or something. I thought the Scorpion king looked pretty artificial, though. They could have done a better job with puppets and clever camera angles like in Aliens.

I heard that ILM worked on a new film coming out called AI that's supposed to look fantastic. Meanwhile, I'm just waiting for Blue Sky Studio's Ice Age to come.

Ive neverseen it, but if you think that starwars: episode 1 was the CG peak, then i guess eitherforgot or never saw The Matrix!

I'm not sure, Blue. Sometimes the image shows up, sometimes it shows a broken image; it does both on the same page, in some cases. I thought the problem might be at my end, but I'm on a different computer now than when I wrote that post, and it's still acting funky.
Back on the topic: Ice Age, hell yeah!

Ey, (thats the ceremonial wisconsite greeting invoked when meeting someone or talking,donchaknow), Blue scrab, both banners are broke worse than a junkie. The picture image thingy is busted so none of the banners show. Honestly, I couldn't tell you what one looked like
