Oddworld Shrines
 

If any of you are interested in Jap. anime, you would have noticed that the internet is full of anime shrines - small, though well done sites done for there favorate anime characters.

I used to have an ' Elum Shrine ' as most of you know. There are a couple of slig sites, a mudokon site..and thats it. I think more of us should make shrines based on our favorate creatures and characters.

I would love to help anyone who wants to make a shrine...I am sure Abe Babe and Sydney would too. :)

hehe, i'd make a bat shrine or a fleech shrine but no-one'd visit...

how about a shrine to the humble firefly? lol...

or the humble Glukkon...

yeah, loads of people love glukkons, but there aren't any glukkon sites. why? :confused:

I'm planning on making a site, just trying to get started. I hate starting, looking at a blank page is really worrying!

Rettick, what makes you think nobody would visit? Just put a bit of time into it, get some big sites to link to ya...and of course have nice interesting content - and cool pics...and you'll get hits. Do you think I got many hits when I first opened Elumstable?

Pacen...blank pages are cool! Just surf the net, and get ideas, and you can quickly turn that blank page into an awesome little shrine. I know your good in fireworks and photoshop, that doesn't hurt. :)

yeah, I've just gotta think of a nice layout, name, colours, images, etc. I have the ability just not the ideas!

I would also like to see some small sites from others.

I was always planning on making a small sub-site for Oddworld-Web that would just be about Abe. But I never got around to doing it.

A long while ago I had a Glukkon/Slig shrine that I put bit of work into, but then I closed it for some reason. I guess maybe I'll re-open it someday...

people would go to elums sites or slig sites. i seriously doubt that the bat sites would get much use...

A long time ago I considered making a Fleech Mini-Site for Oddworldian, but I just don't have the time. Time goes so fast.

just a thought, wouldn't it be mad if we had some flash or shockwave games in OWI?

slurg shrine would be cool. Well I´m planning to make my own site. And I´m also leraning html for it at the moment. And I don´t have just one fav carakter so I wouldn´t make one of justone char.

Well, I finally got to work on my Glukk shrine, here. I had trouble deciding exactly what I wanted it on, but Glukks are my fav and I had a shrine way back dedicated to 'em, so I decided on that. Freaky, if you need help with HTML, let me know. I know a good bit and may be able to help you ;)
