old forums
 

I was just on a little visit on the old forums. I didn´t posted there very often. so i don´t know this. i just wanna know this: How many people were on these forums? Were there also 100 people?

We had just over 200 users at the old forums. The old forums were up for almost 12 months (Sydney can correct me on this as I wasn't at Oddworld Forums from the beginning, I arrived in June 2000). Before it was Oddworld Forums it was called Oddworldian Forums (Oddworld-Web wasn't even around back then).

Keep in mind that some of the members who join a forum (both here and back there) are people who might only sign up to ask a question in Oddworld help. Also some of the early members seemed to dissapear (maybe they aren't Oddworld fans anymore).

And we also have some new people here.

All in all, 100 members in under a month is good, and we are seeing more forum activity here too!

Actually, I set the forums up sometime March 2000. Oddworldian has been online since February 2000.

Abe Babe was a really good forum member who had serious plans on developing a huge Oddworld website (Oddworld-Web), so I asked her if she'd like to co-administrate with me. :)

that´s funny I´ve been Ow fan over 2 and a half years and didn´t know anything about the web sites. Or the forums. well the reason for this was that i didn´t had the internet in those days.
febuary 2000. I hate this time. Perhaps it woulded be good for me if I had been on the forums in febuary 2000.

btw, is 'Daniel Brown' Glukkon_Daniel? i wondered, because he acts like him. you probably all know, but i haven't spent much time in Off Topic, so i haven't heard.

Has anyone seen Mwpenda? she was a regular on the old forums but kind of disappeared not long before the move...

I remember Mpendwa... she used to write some really good fan fics. Actually she was always going to continue the series. I'll have to see if I can get in contact with her.
