*Remembers when OddChat was popular*
I'm not sure... people don't seem to visit there too much anymore. I used to go myself, but usually don't due to lack of time, or the fact that my time zone means I'm sleeping or at work when people are on. It would be good if it were visited more, but we just can't seem to get people to stay. Abe Babe... |

try opening a private chat with someone, that'll pop-up a new window... |
Ive never actually chatted on odd chat I would but the darn window never opens up on my computer. to be honest I like chat better than forums, because you can respond a lot quicker.

I used to go on Oddchat alot, but I stopped because whenever I went there, no one was there to talk to so I just talked to myself in horrible fits of boredom. http://www.theunholytrinity.org/crac...fIX/quina9.gif

Most of us use MSN Messenger to talk to each other. . .

I used to go to oddchat all the time, its how I stumbled apon this forum actually.
But no one ever goes on oddchat anymore so I stopped going. Dark Hood's right about most people using MSN to talk, it is actually better you know. MSN is reasonable small for a chating program, so download it from msn.com if you haven't already got it. Then we can all talk to each other :D |
I used to use OddChat, but unfortunately some sickos decided it would be a fun thing to do to use forum member's names and harass the real members that used OddChat. AS a result, I no longer use it. DH and Naxos are right, most of us on here use MSN messenger.

i usually go to oddchat under the name "jam" (i talked to you before oddworld master on the chat)

I have MSN for work... and some of you are on my list.
But... for "new" people... there are a couple of problems with Messenger... it gives a sense of "exclusivity" ... like you have to be invited, etc or know about it before you can chat. And also, there's that dammed limit on people that can chat. So you can only have a certain number of people in the chat at once. Anyway, just giving my opinion. I don't have time to chat anymore, so it doesn't affect me anyway. What we really need is a awesome online chat room that has all the features of MSN, etc. But that'd cost us quite a lot I'm sure. If it even exists. Abe Babe... |
I'd be quite happy to use Oddchat, but NOT ONCE have I managed to get the thing to open on my cralfrappy computer *furyfuryfury*.
Indeedy, we use MSN to chat. Even though sometimes the window gets a bit, uh... "crowded"... |
No sorry!!

I'm trying to make my own MSN chat room. However, I'm having problems downloading the chat software, so I cant see what it is like yet. If it's good enough, I'll let you guys know, and then maybe we can make our own Oddworld MSN chat room as a replacement for Oddchat, since the current software in there isn't very good.

Spider: yer brains... oh hush. Anywho I only go in there when MSN decides to be mean and not let me sign in *grumbles* like yesterday...*growls* |
