In MSN, if someone repeatedly asks you "Hey, would you like to see my new picture?" followed by "I took it yesterday", followed by "here you go" and a request to accept a file transfer, DO NOT ACCEPT. The person isn't typing this themselves; it's a virus.

Accepting the file transfer will result in all sorts of weird things happening to Messenger. For instance, new windows will open when you type a message instead of putting the message in the existing window, and people talking to you via MSN will have the message "Hey, would you like to see my new picture?" etc repeatedly sent to them, but it won't actually appear on your screen.

The good news is, it is possible to delete the virus, and it won't actually harm your computer, but it's a pain in the bum and spreads like wildfire.

this one's been going around for months now, have you only just got it? you lucky girl...

unfortunately, it isn't as easy than that - it grows, and learns to say different things. it even starts speaking in shorthand and slang if it has been through enough computers...

giveaways:
1) the repeated asking you to download something.
2) it will often type in a different font to that of its 'host'
3) the host will know nothing about it

1 of my friends got that yesturday and if you get an email saying
"it Takes Guts to say jesus" dont open it it stuffs up your hard drive 1 of my friends friends got that and it stuffed them right up
