Anyone remember the Sea Turtle topic?
Those that don't, it was about some so called 'religious' people in Bali that cut open a live (yes...live) Sea Turtle and removed its internal organs for 'religious' purposes...
I found a story on a news site I frequent that talked about something similar...only instead of a sea turtle...it was a live human being.... http://abcnews.go.com/sections/world...0204_muti.html |
Oh my, that's horrendous. I hate to hear about killing of any kind, especially when the being is forced to endure tremendous suffering in their last moments of life:

I can handle death, but not toruring someone or something. that is just terrible. |
I guess that is pretty vile, but it is there Religion, nothing u can really do about it. They do it for the god or what ever they Worship.

That's disgusting they just killed a person, a person A PERSON that's sick.
Killing a person isn't a religion it's MURDER it's sick and cruel and just plain disgusting. |
:
1. Punish them until they will never do it again. 2. Hypnotherapise them until they will never do it again. 3. Kill them. I'll read the article later, I don't have long now...I've heard about it on the radio news though... Edit: I've read it now [ February 05, 2002: Message edited by: Gluk Schmuck ] |
I read the article last night, but didn't decide to post a reply until tonight.
To be honest I was pretty sickened about the whole thing. It all seemed to remind me of some kind of sick horror or serial killer movie. But really it's hard to believe that there are people out there that actually can be sadistic enough to do that kind of thing. But (looking at the example in South Africa)... it all goes down to that same thing again... money and power. It's enough that people in this world are so obsessed with these two evils of society, but the fact that some people out there are willing to commit such gruesome and degrading acts which they think will give them such. I just wonder what goes through some people's minds sometimes. Abe Babe... |
