The Theatre
does anyone go to the theatre ever?
if so, what do you see? if you're interested: i've just seen "Thunderbirds FAB" and it was the best theatre production i've ever seen, it was exelent - anyone else seen it? i'm going to see Bil Bailey on the same day as Xbox is released (Nov 8) |
last time i went to the theatre was about a week or two ago, i went to see 'The Chrysalids', because my friend Sian was in it. usually i don't go to the theatre much, since i prefer acting to watching.

The last time I went to the theatre to watch a production was to London to see Starlight Express. It's such a wonderful production; I've seen it about five times now, and I'm still not bored of it!
My dad is an actor at the Mary Wallace theatre and is a huge Shakespeare fan, so he goes to the theatre to act quite a lot. He is currently rehearsing for 'King Lear', which the theatre is going to perform in a few weeks. Every year, the Mary Wallace puts on a production in the grounds of York House gardens. The gardens are very beautiful, and the evenings are always a success. York House gardens are almost right next to my school, and sometimes when the weather is nice I go there after school and admire all the pretty flowers and the historical architecture, or sometimes I just sunbathe on the huge lawn outside York House! :) I sometimes go along with my dad to his rehearsals, but only because he's also the bar manager as well as an actor, and so I get free Coke and Bombay mix! ![]() ![]() |
one of my friends is an actor...he's performed at my closest theatre...he's also appearing a TV thing (just some CITV think, i think)
oh, and the thing i saw before Thunderbirds was a Paul McKenna hypnosis thing, that was good... |
i hope i didn't give you the impression i think i'm a good actor: i'm not, i just enjoy it, the chances of me actually becoming a proffessional are very slim indeed...

I went 2 see Shrek! :p :D :)

Well, there's a theatre version of The Lion King, so why not Shrek? It'd be difficult to do most of the scenes, though (esp. the dragon chase and the Matrix-spoofy-bit where Fiona fights all the Merry Men).

no offense intended, but i expect rex merely got the wrong end of the stick... after all, i know i always used to get the theatre and cinema mixed up...

that's what i thought
