okay... i'm not too good at explaining things, but i'll give it a go:

do you have a lot of sets of data? well, you should have. what you do with a scatter graph is to plot a set of axes [i'm assuming you know what they are], and then plot your data on the axes. once all your data is plotted, you draw a straight line through it, trying to make the line go through as many as possible [and to have the same number of points on either side of it]. this is called a Line of Best Fit.

Scatter Plot, its like a normal graph in a way, except there is more data so there are alot of clusters and stray dots. You look at your graph and see the direction and where the most dots are and you draw a line through them

Hows that for a 13 year old POV, and I thought I forgot everything in Math
