Rock Fans VS Rap, R&B hiphop fans Ect..

Ok people this is kinda like a poll Topic i just wanna know if these forums have more Rock fans or more Rap,R&B, Hiphop ect.. Ok The type of music i would put under Rock would be:

*Rock
*Hard Rock
*Punk Rock
*Metal,heavy,Bleeding,Neo ect 4 the metals
*Pop Rock
*Rock n Roll

as for Rap, R&B and Hiphop i'm not to familiar with.

Now all u have to do is vote tell me what kinda of music u like, if u like both or neither say so and i will put it under other.
I also have a bet running on this but i rather not say who i'm betting with. I'm 100% Rock fan what about u?

100% Rock for me..

paramiteabe 01-31-2002 01:27 PM

Rock is all the way with me. I hate Rap there is no malady to it. It's just people talking in a beat fashion. Besides Rap would never be compared to what real rock is. Nothing beats the Beatles or Led Zeplon or The Doors. any of the legends of the past will still be the greatest in my book. So rock n roll rules with no comparison.

Fazerina 01-31-2002 02:00 PM

I would say 100 % rock. :D I looove rock'n'roll!

Hmm.. Surfacing. You listed rock and rock and roll as two different things..? What do you think is rock and what is rock and roll? You mean rock and roll is more like 50's "twist rock" and rock is what we have now? Or what do think is rock and what is rock'n'roll? I really think they're the same thing..

SeaRex 01-31-2002 06:47 PM

I see that punk was not listed under rock... I'm not saying anything...
http://www.theunholytrinity.org/crac...ctus/ayasi.gif
Anyway, I'm cool with people liking rap and all. Just becuase I don't like it, doesn't mean it's bad. But for the love of jebus, get rid of this Nu-Metal rap/rock stuff. I don't get it. I don't want to get it. And I don't mind if I never get it. Look, your either Eminem or Slipknot, you can't be both.

Disgruntled Intern 01-31-2002 10:33 PM

to get back in sea rex's good graces....
why the hell is there no punk listed?!?
lol
anyway i pretty much share SR's opinion. i'm fairly open minded about people liking diff types of music, and i sure as hell won't hold it against them for liking rap....
anyway, i'd say 100% rock for me...mainly speed/death metal along with some 'hardcore'..and some punk thrown in for flavor.

paramiteabe 02-01-2002 12:01 AM

Basically all forms of heavy metal and punk rock derived from Rock n Roll. It was Rock n Roll that started it all. If you ask any rock artist nowadays in where they get there inspiration. They would say from Rock n Roll. The Beatles were the first band to open the world of Hard rock and maney other forms of music like a little bit of an R/B combo. I believe the 60's and the 70's were the very beginnings of hard rock. The 50's was more of the mult shop crap. That was normal Rock n roll. but you get your heavy metal and hard rock from the 60's. I wish I was living during the 60's because I would of went to the very first Wood Stock which was the best one ever.

Oh, I wish that too.. It would've been so cool. If I could choose, I would've been a teenager in US during the 50's, in England during the 60's - 70's or in Finland during the 80's.. *dreams of getting a time machine*

Um yeah, I don't post vocabulary that I don't know. Maybe you do but I don't. I don't think you know what it means so that's why you asked.

Vanilla Ice was okay but when he left rap got better. Mc Hammer too. He contradicts himself so bad now. He's suppose to be a preacher and he made a new rap album. Puhlease he's washed up.
Vanilla Ice is a punkernow.

yeah, I can say that to punk too. it was mad gravy. That's why i don't like it that much anymore. It's trash now.

Ah yes, Pinky. Joey Ramone died and punk suddenly turned to crap. If anything, it sounds better than it used to becuase of superior sound recording.

Ha! And Surfacing has caught my drift! Kiss, kiss! Luv ya, buddy!

Why are you always saying things like that? There was no point in saying that apart from to insult Dave, which isn't very nice... In future, think about what you're going to type before you type it, and if it's not nice, don't say it...
