Writing stupid shit to suck up, any tips.
I have to write a story about a certain subject namely time travel for my teacher. anyway aren't time travel stories irrelevant. Assuming it were even possible wouldn't the most seemingly insignificant change alter the destiny of the planet? Or are peole screwing with the past right now? How do we even know were in the future. It could really the past being altered by a smart ass goodytwoshoes in the future. What I need is a good grade, so what kid of smaltzy pap do your teachers go for?

The goodytwoshoes changing the past in the future sounds like a good idea...
|
how about every single thing everyone on the planet does is affected by people screwing with the past? or were not living in the past or the present or the future but because none of them exist. not even the present because its constantly changing. and our movements are affected by a simulated past and that the past is really the memories and records of people. the little goodytwoshoes is ****in with our heads and changing records and stuff. so there really is no time travel. if this confuses you then dont worry cuz it confuses alot of people.

Just end it with something really edgy, like 'and then I woke up.' Teachers never get sick of that crap.

Augh, no, not time travel... that never fails to do my head in...
For instance - like the oft quoted example - go back in time and kill your grandmother before she has your mother. So how can you exist to go back in time to kill her? So, if you don't exist to go back in time to kill her, she lives, and you're born, eventually, so you go back in time to kill her, but then you don't exist so you can't go... Burble. |
hehe, timetravellllllllllll...that's a complex subject...i advise you base the story on fiction, cos if you base it on facts you'll spend all your life explaining it...
if i were you i'd loosely base it on "Black Adder: Back and Forth"...that's the sort of thing a teacher would enjoy in an essay... if i have the time i'd know everything about timetravel...but ofcource, as usual, school gets in the way of my education...that's irony... http://www.howstuffworks.com/time-travel.htm [ October 06, 2001: Message edited by: Gluk Schmuck ] |
