What would you like to see in Jak & Daxter 2?
Here's my wish list:

Being able to play as Daxter sounds cool. Definitely more levels. The overall length of the game was the only bad point imo.
I'd also like to play as Keira or one of the sages. Oh yeah, and here is something I found interesting about J and D: *****tHe GrEeN sTaR tHeOrY***** You may or may not have noticed at night, and usually in the daytime of Jak and Daxters world, there is a great big green star in the sky, which I believe is very important and will probably have something to do with the sequel. I think that *SPOILERS* the Precursor Door is actually a gateway to the green star, and this green star is where the Precursors flocked to for some mysterious reason, thus their disappearance. It would give them a whole new world to explore, and the plot would be more interesting. |
Haven't seen you in a while, Grid!
I noticed the big green star as well. It really made me think about what it could be for whenever I saw it, so it being part of the sequel could be likely. My little brother reckoned the Precursor door contained a huge stash of White Eco, and while that's certainly what it looks like, I thought that was too boring and too obvious. I like your theory. |
I rented out Jak and daxter for my PS2, theres one thing that annoyed me which was using the analog sticks to control Jak, I wasnt used to it at all!;; But it would be cool to play as Daxter and more levels too.

in my opinion, J and D was not a very good game, it was to short, the end movie was very lame and i just didn't like the fact that Jak couldn't talk. sumthin i noticed in that game is theres are piranna plant in the green sages hut. this was takin out of the crahs bandicoot games naughty dog used to create

Oh well, please yourself.
I loved the end video, and Jak can talk; he just chooses not to. Which is a good thing, because if it was Jak uttering all the wisecrasks and insults that Daxter makes, you (the player) would feel alienated and submerged under a barrage of gibberish. Having the person you control be the strong silent type allows you to increasingly identify with him, and you appreciate Daxter's charm more. I noticed the plant thing, yes. If you look carefully, you'll see that there are many references to Crash and Spyro (some of the ex-Spyro team have joined Naughty Dog as well now) in the game. For a laugh, try playing the game in Japanese (you might want to memorise the order tof the headings in the menus though, so you can change it back quickly if you want to). Daxter and Jak go 'whoo-hoo!' and 'yee-ha!' whenever they find a power cell. Try looking at the FMV sequences in Italian too; Italian Daxter sounds hilarious! Having twice beaten the game in English, I'm now doing it in French; as I'm studying it and I want to boost my skills (I do that with quite a lot of my games; I beat them once in English so that I know what everybody is saying in the FMV clips, then I play in French and pick up new French words). I think the Oracles sound much nicer in French than they do in English; the French ones have quite calm and soothing voices, but the English ones just sound as though they need Strepsils. |

If only I could change the language in MGS I'd be speaking word-perfect German by the end of it... (For those of you who don't know, MGS has HOURS upon HOURS of FMVs and Codec chats) |
