Farscape?!?
I know, nothing to do with oddworld...
anyway, i was wondering if pilot, or anyother farscape fans could tell me when the new season starts up? i've been seeing nothing but reruns latley, and i can't get to the FS site to see when the new season begins. -thanks in advance. |
Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Hey Disgruntled Intern! The new season of Farscape begins on Friday, April 5th, 2002 at it's normal time.

Hey thanks pilot-
also i'm sure you've heard this a million times, but congrats on being fan of the month for OWI! heh, what an honor. Another thing- will the new episodes only be on friday and reruns during mon-thur? if you even know i mean.. [ December 29, 2001: Message edited by: Disgruntled Intern ] |
Heh, I started watching Farscape waaay back when it first came out, then I stopped for a while, and when I came back to watching I didn't know what the heck was going on
oh well. I still think it's pretty cool, but not as good as Outer Limits/Twilight Zone. I'm just a sucker for those kind of shows. Oh, and I'm probably one of the only people who still watch Quantum Leap :D |
Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Many thanks! It is indeed an honor, especially since I've been FOM for four months now! (You may notice the green trees outside in the pictures..)
Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*I believe that once they start airing the new season of Farscape, they will stop showing the "classic" episodes during the rest of the week. To Magog on the March: I know how it is; the show is real fast paced, and there's also a lot happenning at any given time, so if you miss even a few episodes then you'll be completely lost! |
My story is similar to MOTM's, but I think I've more or less managed to get back into it now. It's really the only Sci-Fi show worth watching, unless Channel 4 decides to run Babylon 5 again...
|
Yeah i only started watching it about a year ago, then stopped as well, so being able to see all the 'classics' kinda catch me up.
Although i really had no idea Zan was gonna die..she was prolly one of my favorites. besides Rigel and D'argo that is. Pilot, just wondering..how did you become FOM? MOTM..i still watch Quantum Leap sometimes too..hehe :D |
My favourite character is Pilot, strangely... :D Either Pilot or Krays[sp]. On the other hand, Stark seems quite interesting, but I don't really know him too well yet...
|
Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Yes, Pilot is a good character. He's sensible and he is designed well. I became Fan of the (four) Month(s) when I visited the Oddworld Studios back in August. Abe Babe and I are the only two fans to ever have been allowed into the studios. Oddworld has changed my life, so that's not only why they were more than happy to let me visit, but also that they've named me "The Biggest" and "Their Favorite" fan. It really is an honor.
Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Now that I'm through bragging.. Yes, I watch Quantum Leap sometimes too. I know it's been on forever but it has a good plot and it's definetely entertaining. Rettick, what do you like about Pilot, or Crais for that matter? |
I like Pilot because he is quite an original and interesting character. It's not often that one of the main characters in a Sci-Fi show is more or less totally sedentary...
I like Crais for a different reason. I thought he was fairly unimaginative as a bad guy - I thought him wanting Crichton dead for having caused his brother's death was a bit... I don't know, a bit cliched somehow. I admire the fact that the producers seemed to realise this and get rid of it, making him a good guy instead... |
i have to say that i HAVE made my fave character decision.
Pilot all the way for mainly the same reasons as you two, he's well done, intelligent, and i just think it's cool that he has a symbiotic relationship with moia(sp) plus, i dunno i guess because there's so much i don't know about pilot, i'm drawn to the chracter. Pilot- that's too cool! my coding teacher at school went to a class or something with Lorne for a bit i think..he told me it was right before AO came out, and he got to see all kinds of production art, and play a demo. He told me how lorne had all kinds of video game systems in this one room, and on fridays they he and his friends would go play games at the studio. Spradley(my teach) said this was before OW had such a following, and before they really took off, so i guess they had more time for work.. That really is too cool for you pilot, man i'm jealous!
