A quick question...
This has probably been covered before, my apologies...
I've played AE & AO lots, and really like playing them. However, I really don't relish the idea of buying another platform for 1 game (MO). Will a version be coming out for PC or PS ? Again, sorry about asking a question that's probably been done to death. :) |
Mayby on Pc but Mo is a Xbox exclusive Game...
If you buy the Xbox it's not only for one game, but for all the oddworld series, because they come all on Xbox |
:
If MO is really only for X-Box, that makes me really angry! I am a big oddworld fan, but I am not going to buy an X-Box for it! Maybe some people will convert the game to PC and release a crack... But I don't know or I will download it then, because it's illegal. WE WANT MUNCH ON PC! WE WANT MUNCH ON PC! |
Hmmm...I see.
Thank you for the quick answer. :) |
Yeah I want Munch on Pc too but... it's not possible
|
Don't worry.
Although I will get an Xbox, I heard somewhere that someone is working on software that will let you play Xbox games on the PC. I don't know if that's right or not, but if it does come out it will be similar to the Bleem! thing for the PS. |
If they do make an emulator like Bleem, firstly, you'd need a pretty powerful PC to run it (due to the intensity and quality of the graphics in Xbox games), and secondly Bleem sucks! Really it does, I tried it out on some of my PSOne games and it really is bad quality compared to the games on PSOne and it runs slower... even on a better PC.

Out of idle curiosity, what was OWI's reason for deciding on a single platform release for MO ?
I'm not bitching, just wondering if there was a reason besides economics. |
it's easier for the programmers and they signed a deal with Microsoft, which will get them a lot more publicity since their game is one of the 1st games on the Xbox (they also get the honor of having their character strongly associated with the Xbox)
economics is so important that most business decisions are based on economics...as with OWI... |
I think it also has do with the fact that everyone's PC is different, and if they wanted the same graphical quality of the Xbox, many people would not have fast enough PC's. Not to mention regesigning all the controls. One thing about the Xbox controls is that they can measure how much a button presses down, and that affects gamespeak.
