Yo is there anyone who lives in South Africa here if there is how much do you think it is going to cost here?

I dunno how much it cost in south africa!
But the X-Box will be very cheeeeeap in germany! :D

The X-Box will cost £300 in Britain, so using the current exchange rate (30th June 2001):

300.00 GBP (United Kingdom Pounds) = 3,418.19 ZAR (South Africa Rand)

1 GBP = 11.3940 ZAR
1 ZAR = 0.0877659 GBP

The actual exchange rate will change between now and the release date, so it'll cost between 3000 and 3500 Rand.

And in germany costs the X-Box 589,- DM

WOW! DM 589 is only £180! I would definitely buy an X-Box if it was as cheap as that in Britain!

according to britains price an xbox in australia will be an estimate of 900 buckeroonies. I think thats a load of crap for a console so my estimate will be around $250

My guess is they'll start it in the $200-$300 U.S. ballpark, then kick it down to $150 after about six months. Seems to be the protocol for new consoles. On the other hand, this is Microsoft we're talking about...

Microsoft matched PS2 pricing in the US, so I guess that Australians will fork out $750 or so for a lump of black plastic.
