Dreamcasts are now on sale for £49.99, so I'm thinking about getting one. Can anyone tell me what good titles the console has, and is it a worthy purchase?

Hmmm... the PS2 has Crazy Taxi, and the XBox has Jet Set Radio. I'm not too sure about Resi Evil; I'm not into scary or horror games. I've find out some more about Head Hunter and Shenmue, though.

Dreamcast has Jet Grind Radio (My fav game of all time!), X Box has Jet Grind Future. Just about every system has Crazy Taxi.

Ughhh... I got bored of Shenmue. *gasp* Can't escape reality when playing... *wheeze* Too life-like... must stop... talking... *sputter*

If you like party games get Samba de Amigo w/ maraca controllers. If ya like RPGs get Grandia 2. You have to get BOTH Sonic Adventure titles or at least the second one. (It has Japanese voice acting! No more lame English!!!) :D

hmmm.. ecco the dolphin sounds good too. i think i'll be getting the dreamcast for christmas too so i'm looking up on the games :)

I've been told that Shenmue 2 is being relesed for the DC only sometime in the future. However, both Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future and Head Hunter are being released in improved version for the PS2. It's to do with the SONY/SEGA deal. (SEGA selling some of its games to SONY to make money)

Oh, a note on Ecco. If you got a bad temper, avoid this game like the plague. (I know from personal experience that it's one of the most frusurating games you'll ever play.) Imagine flipping a switch to unlock a door, to get a key to unlock onother door, to beat all the enemies in the room, and find AND complete a puzzle ALL beforte you run out of air.(Even dolphins need oxygen.)
