Question bout Admins
Just wondering y r both admin members (Sydney+Abe Babe) both Australian? I thought these forums were American? Not sayin it's bad that they r both aussie's, hell i'm an Aussie myself, but still?????

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that Sydney created Oddworldian.net and of course, the forums. I don't know whether Abe Babe was the cofounder, but it seems she's been here from the beginning, as well. So if the forums have a nationality, it would seem to me to be Australian. We Americans are lucky to be able to share it all through the magic of the Web.

The forums are Australian as much as any collection of people from lots of different countries can be assigned a nationality...

Doug, you're right to an extent. I founded the forums, but Abe Babe came along a few months later and she was promoted to coadministrate with me.
As for the nationality of the forums, I don't believe it's defined by the administrators, but rather all members. Oddworld Forums are international, as members consist of people of all countries (well not all countries, but you get the point, you nitpicking bastard). |

Oh no, it wasn't directed at anyone in particular, rather anyone who thought I was a fool for saying that we had people from all countries here. :D

I agree with your thought about the character of the forums being defined by its members, and I think they derive much of their charm from that. And if anyone thinks you a fool, it is they that are the fool. ;) |
Ok Syd, one more question bout Admins. Can any members in these forums be allocated to an actual admin member? and if so what must they have to do?
