Poor guy, my friends do stuff like that all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened to one of them.

Ok let´s look what I understood:
There were some guys in a chat. One of them said that the light of the lamp was annoying. Then he got out to destroy it. He got electisated (I dunno if I wrote this the right wy). i mean he got the electricity of the lamp in his body. Then he died of that. OH! :eek: :( . Later the guys from the chat met again and one of them told them that this guy was dead. They didn´t believed in him. Plus the lamp story was in the news.

Yeah, FreakyLA he tried to cut the wires to make the light turn off but he electrocuted (electricity of lamp killed him) himself trying to do it.

He was either a complete ass, like most people who vandalise, or street lights in that area are covered in shatterproof glass like where I live. Actually, now I think of it, he was an ass either way. But I still feel sorry for him and his family - especially the sister.

No, I finished year 12 last year under a new examination system that's an update of what Sydney's enduring now (we had the HSC about 8-10 years ago).

I'm at university, and the French homework isn't hard - it's just annoying. We get pointless assignments and stupid questions on complicated material like Albert Camus' The Outsider.

I agree Luxo, his sister must feel really bad about the whole thing, since it was basically her suggestion which made him do it.

FreakyLA, I'm not really sure how to explain what 'wires' are, I suppose they are little tubes that carry the electricity. Although that's a very basic explanation, I'm just trying to say it so you will understand.
