Oddworld winter°
I never saw a Mudokon with trousers or shoes... and how is the winter in Oddworld... is the Winter rather mild or cold?
The Sligs cannot become cold feets,LOL! :D :D :D but what's up with the Mudokons??? what they do? Do they spend the all winter long in their caves??? Does have the Mudokons other rags for the winter, or must they persistence in the coldness with the shorts??? |
This is a good question, Alector!!!
What can Mudokons do in the winter? I don´t know!!! Their poor feets :( !!! That would be painful ![]() But they´ve survived :D Bye, TheBlueScrab ![]() |
You are comparing the winter on Oddworld to the winter on Earth. Naturally they would be different. The planet may be closer to the sun than Earth is to it's sun so winter on Oddworld might not be very cold. Anyway, to keep warm the mudokons use campfires and other species would use other methods.

Not to mention the fact that winter isn't very hard in low latitudes, as where I live. Here, the summer is not very hot and the winter is not very cold. It never snows here, in the northeastern part of Brazil.

Well, if you look around the areas that we've seen in AO and AE, they're either somewhat tropical forests and desert. I'm thinking that, along the lines of what Lampion said, the Muds live in a low-latitude climate where it is basically warm year-round.

Talking about Oddworld environments, you amy notice that Paramonia is a forest of pine trees. This kind of tree only appears in high latitudes (north of USA, Canada, north of Europe, for instance) and because of that, I suppose that the winter season, if there is one, can be as hard as Earth winter in the regions I mentioned above.
The plants of the palm tree forest in Necrum vaults, however, are more adapted to tropical climates. I guess winter here is not as hard as in Paramonia. ![]() [ June 06, 2001: Message edited by: Lampion ] |
