Final Fantasy on Xbox and GameCube?
 

Square officials suggest that non-Sony systems could see Final Fantasy games in the future.

Sorry Dragadon, but what I have read about them in Nintendo Powers..I just dont see how they will be that great.

Mario/Luigi; Zelda; Metroid with first/3RD person views; Mario cart-Gamecube; Snowboarding 1080-Gamecube; Waverace-Gamecube; Eternal Darkness; Too Human; Galleon; Perfect Dark-Gamecube;Rare's next gen Gamecube games; and a few more sweet surprises to be announced at E3. Gamecube will join my XBOX and PSX2, nothing like picking only the best of what all the systems offer.

It's not 96'-98' anymore. Get those older but yet groundbreaking games out of your head, it's 2001 and Mario and company are going to run on new blazing hardware. Just think what the difference will be ..... it's been (5) years since Mario 64, Gamecube is like a F1 race car compared to N64. I cannot wait to see it all at E3.

And don't forget, Gamecube is making a concerted effort to comply with the older gamers. Eternal darkness; Too Human; Perfect dark;Galleon;Super Metroid and two more I cannot mention until E3, real grownup games. And you still get Mario/Luigi. It sucks, sorry I think not. Wait till you see them in motion, then judge, you will be happily surprised.

Possible good news for Final Fantasy fans (like me!). Although the details on an Xbox release are still uncertain... the part that cheers me up... is the mention of a PC version!!! :) Maybe I won't have to buy a PS2 after all!!!

I'm thinking of getting FFVII. It looks pretty cool.

Abe Babe: Too many games of top quality coming on PSX2.... Herdy Gerdy; Ico; Saffire; trust me you will want these, they are in the top 10 of all the great games coming. Just get a PSX2, it will add to your gaming options. About 4-5 years of more gaming options + an extra DVD, not bad, huh.

And I believe FFX will be coming to gamecube and or XBOX. Now the Steel Shark did'nt tell you this, OK.... 90% certain. An announcement will be coming at E3, it's an ace up the sleeves of Nintendo and Microsoft.Things could change, but as of now count on FFX on multiple platforms. See ya Babe of gaming.

i too have my doubts about gamecube.

Osiris, in my opinion, don't get FFVII get FFIX. It's similar but much much better, the graphics, animation, gameplay, all better. But that's just my opinion, test them both before buying.
