What is your favorite character on Star trek the next Generation?
Well My favorite character on Star Trek the Next Generation would be Q. He is really an oddball! disipearing and reappearing at random times across the universe and playing games with the crew. How fun! My favorite episode with Q was when he made Data laugh. That was histarical to see Q dressed up like a Mexican singer in a Mexican band on the Brige of the Enterprise. Then Picard gets a cigar in his mouth. Data starts to laugh after Q leaves and then suddenly he stops laughing like he doesent remember a thing.

Finally, a Star Trek topic!
My favourite would have to be either Data or Commander LaForge. Maybe Deanna Troi, but probably Data. He's cool. |
I'm a Lapsed Trekkie: I used to be a big fan, but I stopped watching, and now I am tool old and critical to get back into it...
I remeber I used to like Q, but then I realised he was kind of predictable. I liked "Deja Q", which was the one where his superiors made him mortal. Ugh... I haven't been a trekkie for over 2 years; how can I still remember the titles of episodes...? EDIT: Forgot to mention... Just before I became a non-Trekkie, my character was Lt. Barclay. Just thought I'd contribute... [ January 18, 2002: Message edited by: Rettick ] |
Definitely Q. I like him miessing with enterprise. I just don't understand why Picard hates him so much. It's my understanding that Q only wants to help humanity evolve.

Anyway, my contribution. I'd have to say I like the characters like Barclay, Ogowa, O'Brien, Guinan, Ensign Gates - those that don't often appear. Out of those, Nurse Ogawa and Gates are my favourite. I've seen Generations, and was disappointed with the absense of Gates and the lack of Ogowa. Looking forward to Wesley's cameo in Star Trek X: Nexus, though. |
Who was Ensign Gates?

I don't watch Star Treck. It's a bit boring to me. Uh..it's because I don't watch TV so often. So when I read this topic and see all those names of the characters, I just can scratch my head. They are cool names, though. A friend of mine used to watch Star Treck all the time. He was a real fanatic!
Some of my friends say to Star Treck "Star Dreck" (do you know what dreck means?) ...I think I shouldn't tell you what that means. Edit: I couldn't resit to edit this post. Dreck means smut! *runs* [ January 19, 2002: Message edited by: Alector ] |
Ensign Gates started becoming almost a regular by the sixth and seventh seasons. She rarely had a speaking part, but she was often reffered to by name. She's dark skinned with short straight black hair, and she's quite short. Always seen at conn.
For a lot of the characters from the Star Trek, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and the films, you can visit the library section of startrek.com. Sadly, they haven't got Enterprise or The Animated Series stuff on yet. |
