Vagrant Story
 

Who has played this game? It came out last year and is by Squaresoft (they do the Final Fantasy series for those that don't know).

I bought it a month or so back cause it was a Square game and only got around to looking at it 2 days ago. Instantly I loved this game (even though I only completed 10% of it after 6 hours). It's a modern version of all the exploring games that I used to love so much. Complete with box puzzles which you have to figure out in order to get through a room and rooms that are hard to find/get to. It has a real-time battle system that has aspects of the turn-based system.

Now I have a decision to make... continue playing FFIX (which I still need to finish) or start to play Vagrant Story. I want to play both of them, but I usually only play one major game at a time.

try to finish one at a time. my brother is playing vagrant story for the third time and he's pretty much of an expert. he completed the map 100%. nifty eh?

Is there any part of the game where you work with a NPC teammate? That would be cool!
