Thoughts on the crafting/pickpocketing?
Apparently Soulstorm will have a crafting system. You'll be able to craft stuff like bombs and distracters. And possibly pickpocket moolah and materials.
Do these elements fit into the Oddworld franchise? What are your thoughts on crafting in general? Does Oddworld need "modern elements" to compete with today's games? I hate crafting. Haaaate. I'm sick of the sight of it. It's like every game these days has either crafting, zombies or lootcrates. It's the unholy triptych of shite. If I see one "Mudombie" I will flip the fuck out. |

Mudombies were planned to appear in Abe's Exoddus since the beginning, of which Soulstorm is some kind of a vague remake/retelling. That was 20 years ago. I think it's about time we got to see them.
