M.O. on Gamecube? (or even PS2???)
Would u buy a GameCube or a PS2 if Munch's Oddesy was exclusive to these consoles or would u buy an X-box anyway, or would u buy 2 game consoles or even all 3? Do u think that the game would differ in any way?

The game would differ, certainly, because each console has a different level of power.
If MO was coming on PS2, then I wouldn't bother to buy an XBox, since there aren't any other games that I'm interested in that are also coming to XBox (I am actually interested in Malice, but that's coming to PS2, and I quite like the look of DOA3, but I'm not that big a fan of fighting games, and there's Tekken 4 and DOA2 on PS2 anyway). I'm still undecided as to what I think about the GameCube. I don't know enough about what games it has. |
And you obviously don't know what's coming to XBOX either. No other games coming that interest you on XBOx, for God's sake wake up. Stop looking for outdated N64 games and put your money into next-gen games that offer both gameplay and graphics, you know you can have both these days, don't you.
How can someone be soooo ignorant. Your first loss will be November 15th, No Munch, halo, Shrek and DOA3. And it will only get worse from there. Soooo many beautiful games for the BOX. Your loss Lass. |
It's not a case of ignorance... I just have a very narrow spectrum of games that I like. If it's not a cutesy platformer or a futuristic racer, I'll be less likely to check it out. I'm not a very harcore gamer (unless we're talking WipEout).
And why are you so obssessed with telling me what I'm missing out on? If I'm really the misguided little girl that you say I am, you should just feel superior and let me get on with enjoying my cloud-cuckoo-land. I'm happy, so leave me be. I didn't flame or criticise the XBox once in my above post (I just said I'm not interested in it, which is NOT the same thing), and your response is making me wonder if you are in fact only interestd in arguing with me personally, and not defending the 'Box. I've seen some of your other posts, and you are a nice person when you want to be... please don't give yourself a bad name by continually taking criticisms of the XBox as personal insults and trying to convert people. If people genuinely believe in something, they're not going to change their minds for anyone, so it's pointless trying. |
You want platformers for the N64. Well as long as we both understand each other, no more attacks on XBOx and I will lay off.
Banjo Kazooie Conker's Quest Jet force gemini Mario ( No kidding, but had to mention it) Donkey kong If you are looking for platformers, you cannot go wrong there, they are classics. The top three are from Rare. Along with Donkey Kong. Hope I helped. |
Steel Shark, do u know how much the box is gonna be and is it true that there's only gonna be 1 game realesed for the box at Christmas?

November 15th in the States. About 20 launch titles. By Christmas a total of 35 or so are expected.
March 14th in Europe. As well I believe in Australia as well. Febuary 22nd in Japan. In the States it is $300, but bundles are 500 or more. Pick your best 3 games for example and a extra controller along with DVD remote. For example Munch, Halo, and DOA3. It already will be very difficult to pick up an XBOX at launch. You may have to wait until December 14th when the next shipments arrive. Camping out at night will be first come first serve. Only 20-25 people of the 100-150 waiting will get an XBOX on launch day. Waiting time's will be something like 12-24 hours to be near the front of the line, depending on locations. If you are interested you better start looking for a retailer now, for a bundle deal or pick a spot away from crowded areas for launch day pick-up. Good luck. I'm not a hardcore gamer, not at all. But Oddworld seems so different compared to other games. I always said to buy anything I needed to play oddworld games. No matter what: a fat PC, a PS2, a cube, or as it is right now an Xbox.
Now I seem to be lucky because there are comming games to the xbox that are different from the classic games we know now too. (I'm not gonna sum them up, that's Shark's job :D ) |
