Reliant vs. Juggernaut
 

a DEAR OLD FRIEND reminded me of the magic of reliant robins, and said one could outrun the mobile factory juggernaut. i didn't want to derail the current threads with this information but i must HEARTILY AGREE with this statement and needed to get all of your filthy opinions on the matter.

but why, i hear you scream? well i'll tell you why.

because it would be funny.

more to the point, i'd pay good money to see a reliant robin bouncing over the hills at 40mph trying to outrun that juggernaut. very good money. with abe driving and munch acting as a counterbalance to stop it flipping the fuck over all the time. or maybe strap munch to the roof so you can use his sonar to tune into the local radio.

a reliant would suit abe and munch down to the ground. they're supposed to be underdogs and the reliant is definitely an underdog in the automotive industry (for good fucking reason), they should add one into Soulstorm with the ability to craft stuff onto it. like an extra wheel.


so what do y'all think? would abe and munch power over the hills and leave the juggernaut far behind? or would that scary beast catch up with the ol' reliant and turn it into scrap metal with abe and munch still inside?


EDIT: because this fucking Vbulletin forum likes to fuck me about, this was supposed to have a poll with 2 options reading:

1: eat my dust, juggernaut! you won't ever catch the reliant!
2: i think the reliant is going to be crushed into a very small cube by the juggernaut

I actually saw a reliant today, bastard had to go round the roundabout in front of me at about 5mph.

I say we could outrun the bastard in a good reliant if we was smart about it.

my only regret is that I didn't come up with the idea! i need to step up my game.

I'd put my money on the reliant... simply because I think the show would totally be worth the money?

Also, how much head start for the reliant are we talking here?

i reckon about the same distance away from the juggernaut that abe and munch are in that picture. then again, it's a reliant. you could give it a ten mile head start and it would still break down or roll over or get stuck, then crushed.

still worth the money though. they'd probably be quicker on a penny-farthing.

You can't beat a Reliant Robin for all round economy? I don't think so. A Reliant Robin is beaten by anything round.
