OWI posted two images saying "What was lost" - "Has been found":







This might be lots of things: A new trailer, more image content, another phase of the ARG... I think it might be the second one.
Any thoughts? :fuzconf:

Maybe whatever happened to that one mud? I remember everyone freaking out for a while in the ARG because they thought they killed someone.

Maybe you're talking about asset 99 (or 98 not sure), who was killed because someone used "hard" ways to find clues.

Interesting. I agree it seems like merchandise, I feel like some game footage would have a more serious tone to it. Design wise, this feels more like t-shirts or something. Then again, OWI usually tag the manufacturer in their merchandise posts, so who knows? Look forward to seeing what it is :)

This poor tortured rabbit is either Munch or Squeek, I think :) Most cruel artwork of Oddworld I've seen till today.
Looks like artist seriously hated Bugs Bunny... whait a minute, 1996??? Do not tell me this is Abe, I'll get a heart attack then!

Very likely Squeek since he was inspired by bunnies who got experimented on to perfect products in labs.

It's likely the Quintology arc was planned to some extent prior to work beginning on the first part, AO.

They also announced via the website that in addition to the lost archives (Lorne mentioned in passing at EGX that there could be a second, more widely available art book on the way), they also found the original AO source code. The site post says they'll 'have more to talk about on this in due course'.

Seems to imply they intend to do something with it?

Looks more like early concepts of Munch to me.

Would be very surprised if they decided to reveal Squeek concept art like that out of the blue.

Then it is in all probability Munch, because he has an antenna in his head.
