Seconded... bad idea. would be suitable for a vr game, but for me it would feel totally out of place for soulstorm. There'd be the interpretation lag for one.

He already had a thread about something similar, making this one unnecessary.

Could you show me this thread as I checked Oddio and Plantixx profiles and Plantixx has only made two the threads, this being one and the other is Forgetten creatures, Oddio hasn't made any at all.
Unless you mean someone else made a similar thread?

oddity stole my idea!!

I'm fine with this being optional, (although I still think it may be too much trouble to add) but I don't think it will even be that practical. I know that, for me, if there are Mudokons that are about to be mulched by a meat grinder, or a Slig on the same level as us coming back, I'm going to choose the old reliable one or two button presses over hoping the voice commands work or even register in time. If Soulstorm doesn't have any time based puzzles, then maybe, but I'm quite sure it will and I've (personally) never seen voice recognition that's at least 99.99% reliable in a stressful situation.

After some time of thinking, I relaized that it's a bad idea in the puzzles that require quick thinking.

I think i got Deja Vu or something because i'm thinking seeing 2 or 3 recent members having same idea. Coincidence? :)

Don't worry about it, honest mistake and all that and yeah you have a point if I had to use my voice to do some of the puzzles in AO I would end up screaming down the mic :fuzgrin:
