Metal Gear Solid 2
 

Hey, does anybody have MGS2? Personally, I think it's one of the best games I've ever played. What did you think of it? And what about Raiden?

I think it's an excellent game. I beat it on normal and now I'm trying agin on hard. Personally, I don't have a problem with Raiden.

And, guess what I found out? There's gonna be a Metal Gear Solid 2X on Xbox in summer of 2002! Woo! If only they made ports of FFX, then I REALLY wouldn't have to buy another system...
From what I've seen, and after beating the first MGS so many times I got the tuxedo thinghy, then I think that it will be, erm, is a great game. Can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait ....

Well, along with FFX, this is another game I hate. It, to me (and a suprising lot of others) is a total peice of crap waste of time game. The story line, while being plugged as 'new and original', is too-unrealistic for it's own good. Hand's taking over minds, transsexual vampires, women who can somehow make bullets avoid her, (here's my favorite) a 200 year old artificial intellegence (hehe.), conspiracy theories, all parts of the new summer flop in ONE CONVIENT PLACE! *breathes out* phew. The gameplay is basically no changes from the original MGS, and while the enviorments are more real, who's honostly gonna take the time to run around shooting bottles just to see them shatter (I can name 3 people from Gamefaqs.com off the top of my head..)? Really, only hard core fans who love to just ooh and aah over every little detail need apply. Raiden's kinda iffy on my scales (At first I was like "Since when the hell did this turn into a Gundam Wing episode?!") and the voice acting is still pretty bad at parts (I've grown to just kill myself on purpose just to hear the horrendously hilarious acting there, "Raiden? Respond! Raiden?! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIDEEEEEEN?!?!?!?" ahem.)
I mean, it was mildly enjoyable, but after beating it(They just HAD to slap on a moral to the ending didn't they? I felt that Solid Snake rambling on for about 10 minutes on stuff about our children was a 'bit over done) I felt NO urge to play it again.
And there's my semi-proffesional opinon. :D

Hmm. I guess I'm a hardcore fan, then. I agree with you about the story-line, it was a little...um...what you said. I think Raiden was ok, but I think Snake is just flat-out more total bad @$$.

Has anyone gotten all the dog-tags yet?

P.S.- And shooting bottles is fun!
